UWE is over. Couldn't agree a deal. 6 years of wasted money, time, effort and yeah hope. I'm old enough to ( just about) remember Eastville and we've been looking for a home since. Apparently we will now be looking at other sites but tbh I've heard it all before. I hope we just re- develop the Mem and do a proper job. We're close to loads of pubs and despite you lot pointing out ( rightly) that it's a shithole we have a good laugh there.
I dunno guys, I'm not going to lie or gloss. I'm gutted. Hopefully summat good will come out of all this and I've not got much choice but to trust the people running things.
Still a bit shit though.
UTG.

What was said?
Seemingly someone with a link to Magnusson was slagging off Johnson calling him a compulsive liar and then slagged off others on the forum, thread got deleted to remove information they regretted from the public domain.

And you didn't do a screen shot
The link to who it was only came out this morning I think or at least when I saw it, was no evidence yesterday that what they were posting had any truth to it.

I'm excited about this Eliasson guy, I must admit. Looks like a really good player judging by the fact he is playing superbly in the Allsvenskan at only 21.

JJH Solid enough defensively I felt, however against tougher opposition could be different. Going forward, as said when he had time on the ball he could find a good pass or get a good cross in, under pressure accuracy went a bit. I'd say if we're looking at playing a more contained game Saturday he could do a job but if we want to play our expansive football then he may not be the best option, thought Kelly looked alright when he came on.

I thought Mags was our worst player.
Got caught in possession about 6-7 times against a poor Plymouth side.
When he was caught he was slow getting back.
Kelly over Mags at LB for me.

I don't think anyone gave a 'bad' performance, hard to when you win 6-0, but he, O'Neil and O'Dowda had quiet games.

It's a shame we have O'Neil such a ridiculously lucrative contract otherwise we could've offloaded the camel in the summer.

Again I don't think O'Neil had a 'bad' game, just was no where as effective as our other CM's facing worse opposition, still did an okay job for the night.

O'Neil os frustrating. Does difficult things well, then fucks up something simple. O'Dowda was quiet, but grew into the game.

Bar a few patches Mags was poor.

I was making notes during the game- gave up at HT. Was mostly on how we played but anything notable I jotted down- good or bad. Mags had 5 or 6 bad things, next highest was O'Neil with 2

I do like Mags, but thought he was sub par in what was- mostly- a very good team performance.
All opinions though.

I thought you looked really good at times today, your movement on and off the ball was excellent and we couldn't get near you in that first 45. If you play like you did in the first half today then you will be right up there at the end of the season. Diedhiou looks a right handful.

Can only agree with the above post.
I was in brown trousers in anticipation ~ Main Stand.

I don't understand Redknapp, nor this 'mythical' Leadership image he has, rather I DON'T want to believe it.
3 bloody howlers from Bristol could've turned or killed the game. But those misses gave it Blues.

:emb:

I was very surprised at Bristol... a very, very good team...I expected a loss ~ based on our lack of investment and struggling above our weight.

I'm glad for the result...and still NOT convinced about Harry's "Hogwarts" connetions...

:err:

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
The seasons two weeks old, can we please play nicely and not abuse each other, be it "winding up any bellends" or calling anyone a sex offender. Thank you. I'm going to lock the thread briefly and reopen later.

Sky saying Jordan Mutch has to choose between City & Burton
Johnson obviously has no faith in Hegeler and O'Neil then. Can't blame him, but you would've expected one of the two to go if he was only going to go and sign another central midfielder.

At least it not another lw player.

I think Johnson just gets carried away with transfers
