Fair point but I think Moyes would fit like a glove under his good mate Lansdown. That’s the dream. That's an interesting point for me. No doubt there are better managers out there, but is there a better "fit" right now?
City have a plan for the way forward, and LJ appears to have bought into this plan 100%. Whereas I think most managers are only interested in the here and now (which is fully understandable, as the norm is that they would get the sack if the team doesn't perform), but LJ is happy to look to the long term future of the club.
Clearly this strategy can only work with the backing of the owner when going through bad patches on the field, but LJ obviously has that.
Pretty much yeah.Doesn't Johnson do this every season? Puts together an impressive run for 45% of the season and then a terrible one for 55% of the season? Did the same at Barnsley and seems to have done it every year at Bristol City.
Probably worth sticking with him in the long run though, still very young in management terms and you would hope he can finally come up with a Plan B when form drops off. Does he have one this year? haven't seen you lot play.
We have different play styles and are finding different way with of winning but we’re over performing atm, it’ll level itself out unless we sign a top striker/#10 in the Reid/Vydra mould.
