Urgh, we were bad. I've had City v Rovers saved on the Sky box for ages - watched it the other night. Harewood, O'Connor, Shorey amongst others - bloody hell. How far we've come.

And even then, when we went 20 games without a win in the league, the worst run the worst City have been in over a generation...... we still beat the Gas

Pre Non - League Gas, wager they feel they've come on a bit too. Like two old drunks fighting on East Street. I just remember looking at the table Christmas 2013 trying to imagine if we could scrape together 30 odd points to stay in League One.

Remember going to that Crewe game, 1-0 defeat when they scored a pen in the last minute. Worst game of football I've ever seen. Neither side could pass the ball 5 yards, they were fucking dire that day and somehow we were worse!

Lowest I've ever been as a City fan. Moment it really sunk in we're headed to League 2 here

I had to post on this to mourn the passing of what is IMO 'the' legend of our club.
As someone put on another forum, 'there are legends, proper legends and then there is Gerry Gow'.
Absolutely gutted to read of the passing of possibly our greatest player.

Where'd he go?

Regarding Gow; before my time but am obviously aware of him and what he did for the club. Hopefully the club will do a fitting tribute for him before the Blackburn game.

Remember watching Gerry Gow many times and especially the games with Rovers when Frankie Prince was playing. Can't believe he has gone --But will never ever be forgotten by the footballing Bristol public ( both Red & Blue ). I gave you pelters Gerry but always respected you.
