For all the critics Flint has on here he was a colossus tonight.

If Sterling hadn't stayed on his feet first half then he would have been given a certain yellow on the edge of the box, on top of his daft yellow in the second half.

Had a good game but still an average at best Championship defender with a good scoring record.

We didn't let him go, he went for more money. Is his dad still a nob head?
Nah Garry's sound just a tad illiterate

Your boys did good, must have been class.

Absolutely no way should you be able to write/articulate so well though after a full day on the drink.
I'm alright, got into Manchester at 2 yesterday then went back to a few bars in the centre after the game. Was quite pissed at the game and glad I booked the day off today, but I hate people wh o typr likr t hos ehen theiR a tad pisrd

Fucking remarkable how far we’ve come in a short space of time. Full credit to LJ and the lads!

Proud City lad here.

You could say had he been booked in the first half he wouldn't have got himself the silly booking second half.
It's all theoritical.

CB, Walsh in the middle.
Ah, I get you, assuming Nathan Baker doesn't make it. Wouldn't we be better putting Magners in the middle, dropping Joe B back to full back and play Pato on the LHS of midfield?

Steele
Wright Flint Magners Joe B
Josh B Marlon Korey Pato
Reid
Famara

Walsh to come on once Fammy's knackered and go 4-5-1?

I don't know mate but that's what LJ's gone with. Only one that's still up in the air is Fielding he's having a fitness test tomorrow, Baker's had all his scans today so hopefully he gets the all clear for Saturday.

Sane against a makeshift full back? Oh dear. Josh is gonna have to work his balls off to help Korey then!

Smith is a competent right back and would rather Smith at right back and Wright with Flint then Flint and Magnusson together. Flint/Mags were being torn to shreds by Derby, would dread to think of Man City against them. Flint needs a Wright/Baker alongside him to be effective.

Baker will be a big loss. I think the only game he's missed was Leeds and we got a right hiding!

Enjoy the game tonight people. I will have to make do with a dodgy stream as per usual.

McGregor reckons Baker's passed a late fitness test and will feature at some stage, I fucking hope he's right then.

I support a club that has conceded over 100 goals since the start of last season but what I saw in the minute leading up to the goal ranks as possibly the worst defending I’ve seen in that period. Woeful.

Straightforward for Man Citeh in the end but it's been one hell of a ride! Just the one goal to focus on now. All steam ahead.

We gave it a right good go and have to take the fact that Pep played the team he did as a compliment.
They were average in the first leg at theirs but by god, they were slick tonight. What a team and how good is De Bruyne? What a player!!
We've had a good run and losing to Man City is no disgrace, we didn't get battered!

Defending for the first goal was shambolic.
But we gave them a game, still proud of this team for their cup run this season.
