After well and truly shithousing it yesterday we come up a team we should beat. It would be nice to see Eliasson start, especially after hearing we were poor out wide yesterday, but I very much doubt that will happen. We'll probably play the same 11 as last time out, which i'd be happy with.

Someone's due a hiding off us, but first Archer needs to be dropped. Wouldn't be surprised to see us turn them over here, but also wouldn't be surprised should we get smashed.

Hopefully we'll be positive at home and more of our expansive game, think we'll win by a goal but both teams will score.

Dear god, I've just realised that I will probably be sharing a train with this lot on Saturday evening. Fucks sake.

Like us, I suspect you will be better against the 'top' clubs. I think Millwall will turn you over. :bg1:

2-1 Millwall. Wallace and Saville to demonstrate that Wolves players only get scoring once they leave WV1.

I don't know about that to be honest Herts. Turned over Barnsley easily, lost against Birmingham and should really have lost against Brentford too, who will be at the very least in the top half come the end of the season. Plus we aren't very good at sitting back, and that's a hindrance that will matter when we play big clubs, more so than when we play other teams.

But I do like the photo of Ruben Neves that you shared

Millwall were voted family club of the year last season for what it's worth. They aren't all hooligans from the 70's.

Well that wasn't very good. Millwall were direct and organised, executed their tactics well, starved us of the ball and stopped us playing.

Despite struggling for longs period last season LJ still hasn't a plan B that works. I can't see what his substitutions were meant to do, and they had no affect on the game at all.

Too many mistakes from City today, but Reid had some nice touches and Paterson picked up some good positions in the first half, but that's about it really.

Villa won today, but they're likely to let us play. We may not want to play an open game against them though.

Four games, four good performances. Or, four games, two points.

Pleased with our efforts though. We need to add another striker before the window closes but I think the results will come.

I'd give Elliot more playing time, he always looks a handful when he comes on.

Awful performance again. Our confidence has clearly taken a hit in the second half at Birmingham and because our players are so mentally weak (see last years 11 defeats in 12 games), we seem to have carried that into Brentford and Millwall, both games we should've lost comfortably. Looking like it's gonna be a long hard season again as many of us predicted before a ball was kicked.

Wasn't at the last 2 games so can't comment on performance but getting 2 draws from games by the sounds of it we should have lost seems different to last year where we'd have lost both.

Well not exactly.. Burton was the first away game last year and like Brentford, we got absolutely battered from start to finish. Nicked it 1-2.
