Not quite sure why i'm going to this one because we are going to get fucking spanked. Just thank God Aaron 'I always score vs PNE' Wilbraham doesn't play for them anymore...

Bristol 3-1 with us going 1 up

Reckon we might be pushing 20,000 JJH . What with people looking to get priority for the united game. Got to be looking to win our home games. 2-0

I don´t like these awkward games againt teams we (as 4th best) should beat, Still waiting for the wheels to come off. We always lose to Preston or hopefully we always lost to Grayson´s Preston.

A win is needed to retain the momentum and I dont think it will be a battering.

Bryan should go back to his best position and get Paterson in the team.

By the way, someone should tell the chap on PNEOnline who predicted an attendance of 13k that the game is at Ashton Gate, not Deepdale.

I'm off work next week so very tempted to make the trip. I wish they'd stick this game on a bloody saturday.

I've a bad feeling we might get a bit of a pasting here, would definetly be happy with a point.

I was a bit worried about this but after watching them yesterday we've nothing to fear from them. Hopefully Davies and Earl will be back and obviously Hugill is back. I'd go for:

Maxwell

Woods
Hunts
Davies
Earl

Pearson
Johnson

Barks
Browne
Mavididi

Hugill.

1-1

I'd feel more confident if we can field a team like that.

I really do think that Davies being out has been a massive miss for us. His composure and ability to carry the ball out from the back has had a massive impact on the way we've played recently in my opinion. The loan spells have clearly done the lad a world of good and it showed earlier in the season.

Scraping a point would be a great result here.

Can't see Davies being rushed back in, no idea on Earl...?

Maxwell
Woods, Huntington, Boyle, O'Connor
Pearson, Johnson
Barkhuizen, Browne, Harrop
Hugill

I think its going to come down to how Preston try and play, we've struggled to break down teams who sit back and come for a point. Whereas teams who try and play against us we often find a way through. I'd like to think we'd win this but honestly wouldn't be surprised with a draw given our recent record against Preston. JJH's line up is exactly what I expect as well.

I can see another draw here. Hope I’m wrong though as we should be winning these games if we want to push on.

PNE will be tough to break down.

I'd be very disappointed if we didn't come away with 3 points here. No disrespect whatsover meant to Preston who when on their game are a fine side but injuries and loss of form for them coupled with our own recent trajectory means that we really should be winning this. Of course if we were playing them two months ago, I wouldn't have been confident at all!

It won't be easy tonight but I think we'll nick it 2-1.

Our injured players are now coming back into the squad slowly with 2 more expected back tonight. So hopefully we can get back to our early season form.

Even with a few players back, I still think we need a bit of luck to re-find our confidence.

Can't expect anything tonight.

I don't think we'll sit in like all the City fans expect us to. We don't play anything like we did under Grayson. We will press high and play out from the back, can see us either getting pasted or winning 1-0.

I hope you do because we do the same and at this moment in time are probably better at it, depends what team you field though.

Agree I'll be more optimistic if Preston come trying to play.

Not confident of us beating anyone, at the moment. Think we'll get twisted up tonight.

4-0.

He'd be lucky mate, traffic on the M32 going into Bristol and through the city centre's a fucking nightmare.

Standard PNE win tonight away at Bristol :err:

Even though we are getting players back were not playing with any sort of confidence or swagger like we were doing at the beginning of the season. As someone has already said we are massivey missing Davies who was immense for us at the back.

We really really need to try scrape a draw or win somewhere to give us that belief again because on our day we can match anyone in this division I think.

But can't see it tonight. 3-0 Bristol

Confident we can win but hope Bryan's fit to drop to LB for Magnusson, Preston have an awful lot of pace on the break

Not so sure, it might be too soon for their players coming into a game like this. Hopefully we take advantage
