Thoughts on the match yesterday...
First half Wigan were far more composed than we were, we looked very nervous and didnt treat the ball well at all. No offence but a top side in this League like Newcastle could have put 3 past us first half.
Second half complete opposite, we had energy, the likes of O'Neil, Bryan and Magnusson grew into the game. The difference was the subs off the bench, they all made a big impact to the game. I actually thought it was a really good game all in all.
Wigan will be fine this season, on another day we'd have lost 1-0. Can definitely see them upsetting a few of the big boys this season.
A win or a draw against Burton will make for a solid start going into the tough matches against Norwich, Newcastle and Villa.
