Being broadcast abroad this game for some reason, think it’ll be an awful one to watch. We never get anything at St Andrews anyway so this’ll probably be the start of another trademark Johnson dreadful run given our fixtures.

May as well have a go...

Can't see us threatening Blues home record TBH.
Regulation 3-1 home win I should think. :(

Some better news coming out of the club regarding injuries, Jota is back available for selection after a couple of weeks holiday & Dave Davies and Vassell are back in training, be like having two new signings when they finally make it back.

Two schools of thought regarding Jota, put him straight back in the side to play our best XI or put him on the bench and don’t change a winning side. I’m in the latter, Conor Mahoney has hit some great form and is clearly really enjoying his football, sends completely the wrong message to drop him as soon as Jota is fit, give them an hour or so of Mahoney then bring Jota on to terrorise them for half hour.

Avoid defeat and the home run goes beyond Christmas, that’d be nice.

2-0 Blues

What a game by the defence, restricted them to fuck all. An absolute class above anything we had with Flint in it as expected.
7 from 9 LJ out out out

Massive result that. Hopefully that’ll give us a confidence boost going into a couple of tricky fixtures.

Dreadful dreadful game, far and away the worst performance under Monk, Bristol came and done a job on us, complete anti-football which we happily joined in with.

Hate to say I thought we looked as though we thought the result was a formality from the off, very little effort/urgency, most unlike us so far this season.

Johnson’s got Monk on strings in fairness to him.

Great win that and much needed.

We have Norwich and Derby coming up.

Well done to LJ and the team for our recent away results. 5 away wins before Christmas is great going, and it's down to defensive resilience, graft and a fair amount of shithousery!

Just a shame it's absolute turd to watch but I'd take that over pretty football and a relegation battle anyday.

Remind me to never pay attention to you negative lot again.

Birmingham the only side to lose on my 5-fold this weekend.

Played lads :fing:
How much did it let you down for? Have a look in the Wolves Toon thread, backed Jota FGS and Doherty final goalscorer and collected £280, and had a few other football and horses bets come in this weekend and ended up about £500 up. Best weekend I’ve had in a long, long time.

Well played, not that it makes me feel any better! Nah, was £165. Wasn’t going to change my life but the local pubs would have benefited from it in the run-up to Christmas.

That’s where I’ll be spending mine I expect, love this time of year as piss ups are so frequent.

I sense a very forced smile
Not at all Aaron. I always want City to win but didn't expect it. I NEVER want us to lose against anyone.
My feelings towards the head coach are an irrelevance, the fact we won is of far greater importance.
If the fella proves me wrong and suddenly looks like he knows what he's doing, all the better for BCFC.
