Tell you what, Carlisle are picking up form at the right time, 4 straight wins now. Home form has turned around as well. Kinda doing the opposite of last season, started poorly and then picked up after Christmas.

Now you Carlisle fans know why we were so keen to have this game postponed, we are complete and utter dogturd.
If Jolley manages to get enough points over the next 10 games to keep Slades rejects up then he deserves the freedom of the borough in my opinion, we are sinking faster than the Titanic and I don't think anything or anyone can save us now.
At least in the National League might actually win a few games I suppose.

It was another shocking game of football lacking quality from either team.

We were just more solid defensively than grimsby, dealt with the little they offered, where as they buckled early on from a simple punt forward for our striker to spring the offside track and square for a tap in (after carthorse Bennett failed to beat the keeper). I never really felt like Grimsby would get back into it after that although there was one dodgy moment which forced our keeper into a good save.

We’ve won 4 in a row now, but let’s not get carried away by talking about playoffs. Yes we’re 3 points off 7th, but these 4 wins have come against struggling teams and we’ve not seen any of them off with any real style or conviction, we’ve just sort of huffed our way to the 4 wins by being marginally less shit than the opponents. Once we come up against any half decent team that can string a few passes together and defend reasonably well to nullify our very limited attacking threat, we’ll struggle like we’ve done against these teams all season.
