10:35am: The bid is for parent companies of Blackpool FC, Segesta Limited, Segesta Properties Limited, Blackpool Football Club Limited and Blackpool Football Club Hotel Limited. The deal would see assets Quernmore Park Hall and Travel Lodge hotel return to the Oyston family, as well as writing off loans which are owed back to the club.

10:30am: Blackpool Supporters Trust have made a proposal to Blackpool Football Club to buy the club for £16m.

Will almost certainly reject.

Oyston won't sell to the supporters trust surely? Unless the price was silly. For any sensible price he'd rather sell to another private owner?

They said they would act in the best interests of the football club should a bid be received.

This BST bid of which I have paid towards in membership is the best for the football club. They are writing off the loans the club has paid towards the Oystons, they are writing off the club owned land which currently houses a Travel Lodge hotel and they are in effect writing off the 30M they owe Valeri Belekon. In effect it's a 46 million bid and allowing them to take almost all of their assets with them.

We don't have any value in the players, traning ground so we're basically starting fresh whilst the Oystons run away with the money. I'm more than happy for that to happen.

So it's not actually a new money bid? It's effectively a bid put together with assets that the Oystons already own?

So, is any money actually being paid to the Oyston's or is it that they acquire the assets that the club effectively own at present, along with writing off the debt?

Basically PrestonCha is right. The company have taken loans out against various companies with the Segesta LTD Group. We are therefore effectively writing off all of the loans and any potential moneys owed to Valeri Belekon by taking over the club.

In effect, we're getting the football club, the ground, the training ground and the hotel and letting the Oystons get away with all the money they have syphoned away from the club through their various businesses. We'll be left with a blank slate and will struggle to trade without the support from local companies, the fans and potentially Valeri Belekon or even be lucky and get a competitive squad together and get promoted.

Probably something equally as gay as the 'Tangerine Knights'... the Blackpool Super Troopers?

I imagine it's the supporter's trust.

He won't sell. I can see this been a long drawn out affair. It will get uglier and the club will go down again I feel. He should take the offer and fuck off.
May end up been a new club rising out of an old one, like Hereford, Darlington and Chester.
