Friday night fever is back... i miss our floodlight fridays 3 points followed by 3 pints then 3 clubs ( atmousphere, ruperts and rockys) , these days we dont play on a friday , all the clubs have closed and the only place im heading after 3 pints is the kebab shop then bed!

A lot of clubs closing these days everywhere. Down here in Stroud, The Warehouse, which is pretty popular is currently shut cos someone got mudered in there a couple of weeks back, and the only other decent venue, Twisted Fix which is pretty decent if your into drum n bass electro/underground stuff is closing down in April. Sad times.

Friday night game at gateshead would be great but will never happen even if club are near top of the league. Bt sport hate the club think they still have a gripe with the club after oxford game was called off last minute in 2013

I don't get the whinging about BT Sport selections. If you're pushing for the title, you'll be featured. If you're fighting relegation you'll maybe get on towards the end of the year. If you're playing someone who's going for promotion, you might get on. If you're the dictionary definition of mid-table mediocrity (I'm looking at Gateshead, and ourselves until this year) you'll hardly ever be on. Simple really.

Good point but gateshead aint midtable are they still fighting for play offs

Lincoln far and away the best side in the division this year, so no complaints about them getting on a lot. People should enjoy watching them while they still can. You wont be seeing a Cowley managed side at this level again after this season.

Tranmere are the biggest club, so can see why they get on a lot. BT need to put games on that people might want to watch.

Btw never had a problem with Gateshead, it's better then a lot of grounds in this league.

Finally someone says something good about ground. I actually go to more away games now and its opened my eyes how bad some grounds are. Second hand seats bolted onto terraces with a stand thats like a pigeon loft at one ground and was far more expensive than gateshead during there conference premier days

Potentially, that's £8,000 down, and that's before the home fans are included. It's not unreasonable to think that the home end would be 500-1,000 down on what it could have been. Even including the TV money, it could be a 5-figure revenue loss for Wrexham.

Yep, they do, but they're normally in a stand where the home fans pay £20 too.

Being in the GUS, we're paying £20 for a stand that is usually £16 for home fans.
