Another bunch of no-marks we've never played before, away on a Tuesday night. Much like Fleetwood, I don't expect anything here either. Draw would be a decent result.

To be fair he is correct. We have no marks playing for us.
2 1 it is then. Top of the league again, if only for a few days.

Well what a shocker that was. Sounds like a carbon copy of the Fleetwood game.

Don't think it sounded like the Fleetwood game at all. From the radio, it seemed like both sides had lots of chances and we could (should?) have got a point out of it.

You are correct. Chances at both ends - and you could have got a point. I'm delighted to win as I genuinely fancy the lions for top two even now.

Ah well that's good I guess. I was going off a couple of snippets on info from a friend. I know to not listen to him again :)

Millwall won't finish in the top 2. They're too inconsistent, top 6 would be a good return for them considering the players they have.

Can't agree with that. With the players in our team we really ought to be in the play-offs at a minimum. In terms of cost, quality and experience most of our first XI has either experienced success at this level or at the level above.

Think we should probably be doing better overall with the players we have, tbh. If not for the home form farce in the very early part of the season, we would be (ifs and buts, I know).

If people think Millwall will finish near the top based on that performance then I'll stop watching football. They played hoofball all night and I can't remember any clear cut chances they had apart from when they slung it in and hoped for the best.

Braindead I don't base it on tonight just a feeling I guess.
We deserved to win although nervy at the end.
Good to see 7 goals scored in two games. If we can keep that up then we have a chance

Looked like we should have had a clear penalty in the second half from the highlights on skysports; player got chopped down, you could argue he played on as it fell to our attacker, but he was under pressure. Just watched it a third time, Not sure how the ref didn't give it as a penalty, maybe it was easier to let the game play on, he got kicked in the stomach.

Archer is looking like a fantastic highlight keeper. He couldn't do much for the goals, but made some great reaction saves again.

We should make top 6, given our budget and there is a lot of time left; the season we got promoted with Jackett we were shocking until the 23rd game or so. Can see Neil being backed in January to bring in 1 or 2 players.

I was at the match, Millwall started brightly but created very little, about the 25 minute mark Albion found their feet and could have easily been 4-0 up at half time, the fact that they weren't was down to some brilliant saves from Archer. Once Albion had got themselves 2-0 in front, Millwall clearly rattled lost their composure and tried a very physical approach and not all of it legal. Saville especially was lucky not to be sent off. 2nd half they upped the tempo but just lobbed long balls into the box which for the most part Albion dealt with reasonably comfortably. Having already been booked Beevers was very lucky to stay on the pitch after throwing Thiele to the floor off the ball and then elbowing him. His eventual sending off seemed inevitable as he had clearly lost it. Although not having as much of the ball Albion came closest to scoring twice through El Khayati. The Lions managed to scramble one home from a corner but apart from a couple of scrambles in the box never really looked like equalising.
Burton on Trent is north of Watford by the way, in Staffordshire in the English midlands for those Millwall fans who didn't make the trip
