Another one in the next 20 and we'll have a chance! Still think Bury are good for at least another goal though.

We don't deserve to have the game called off. Let's take the spanking and learn from it. The likes of Amoros and De Freitas are going to have to learn to adapt their game in these sort of conditions, as places like Bury and Burslem on a soaking wet day are most certainly a far cry from Monaco.

An early goal in the second half along with a proverbial rocket from Bruno and you never know!

This exactly!

Although we got a goal back lets take this beating and learn from it.

Cicilia pissing about apparently. Shame as we sounded like we had been knocking on the door.

We were right back in the game and had we got a second before Cicilia fucked up Bury would have been on the run.

Cicilia is absolutely pants, needs fucking off asap just like Saleiro was.

Let's hope Anton isn't out for too long then! Another goal from the area Grant would have dealt with?

Yep.

I'm not going to say with Grant in the side we win today, because that would be nonsense, and a few of our players have had shockers that is nothing to do with Grant. But they certainly wouldn't have put 4 past us and got through our midfield time after time after time as they have done, not a chance.

Need to offer him what he wants to stay as so crucial. Big big test of our credentials next week after a shitter

Lets watch OVF go into meltdown and mass argument

That's more entertaining than the shite on offer from us today.

On days like this our passing game needs to go out of the window somewhat, because it simply won't work.

Aye, without even playing he's done wonders for his negotiating position for a new contract.

Congrats on the win to Bury anyway. We just got beaten in every aspect of the game, big job for Bruno to pick the team up again for next time out.

Bad day at the office but don't think anyone saw such a shocker coming after such a great start to the season.

Seems most things have gone against us and a few stinkers and we've been punished for it.

Take it on the chin and take it to what a paper is an even tougher game away at Peterborough.

Unlike you they actually tried to win a game of football and got rewarded for it.

Shit performance in shit weather in a shit place full of shit chavy people.

Credit to Bury who were at it from the off, wanted it more than us and adapted a hell of a lot better to the pitch and conditions than we did. Some of our foreign lads who have done well so far will surely have learned a lot today about the game over here. We have a good 11 with everyone fit that can compete with anyone but a couple of injuries like any team in this league really takes it's toll, and Grant is our most important player by a mile, and I would have said that 100% before this game. Cicilia and Patersen won't get into double figures between them and I'd rather make out with a jellyfish and then suck off a mountain Goat than to have to watch them piss around up front offering nothing.

You get beat 3-1. You were tonked on the day, and were sent packing with your tails between your legs.

It happens. Let it go, kid. Let it go.

I'm honoured that we kept it down to just 3-1 against the mighty Port Vale. This Barca style of football that they play that the opposition can only stop through disgusting football. How can this league compare against such greats as Anton Forrester and Remie Streete?

Highlights don't make for great viewing! Back pass was unlucky though should of hoofed it in those conditions.

Three other goals were diabolical to conceded allowing the space to shoot and run at us like that.

Decent finish for the second mind, forth is unlucky probably be an own goal in theory as wouldnt have gone in otherwise.

Bruno accepting blame and being man enough too... Better than "we go again" from Pagey

One little worry I do have after today is this is the second time (Carlisle) he has questioned the players attitudes towards a game

"It is a bad day for us. A bad game. In the first half we were very bad, but it is my fault, never the players.

"We will keep working. We need to improve some things. These conditions are not good for our football, but we need to change. Sometimes you play on bad pitches and we need to play better.

"I told the players they need to work hard and to have attitude. But it is never the players' fault, it is my fault.

"It is my fault because the attitude in the first half was not correct. We need a good attitude and the first 45 minutes was very bad. I need to speak with the players but outside I never say the players are at fault, it is my fault.

"At half time I said to the players do we change the attitude or do we finish the game maybe seven or eight nil?

"We changed the attitude but after the first 45 minutes it was difficult to change.

"The attitude was better (in the second half), the performance is no good. It is not my football, the attitude was a little bit better but the football was very bad."
