Doubt too many Southend fans will make the journey up on a Tuesday night.

Have to pay for transport again, and most will likely have to take a day off work/school.

Obviously it's a great offer for home fans and should see an increased attendance, but have to feel for the Southend fans making the trip.

Bury can't be blamed, although an improved pitch could help...

The rain was torrential to be fair, not many pitches would have coped. Rochdale was the same but their official just persevered, Hyde's game was abandonned (Man City Youth pitch), Burys youth game at Carrington was postponed and Burtons pitch on Monday had lots of standing waster too.

Our FA Cup game at Bournemouth was postponed very late in the day last season. Albion fans had already arrived. Bournemouth had achieved promotion a couple of seasons earlier at the Pirelli and remembered how well our club and supporters had treated them, Bournemouth supporters raised enough funds amongst themselves to pay for the coaches for the Albion fans to attend the rearranged game. An outstanding gesture ! I always look out for there results nowadays and hope they get promoted to the Premier league this season, particularly if its at the expense of that team who interfere with sheep just up the A38.

Was hoping all that rain would move across to Mansfield about half time against York, alas, it stayed sunny

We did a pay what you want back in 2010 against Gateshead. Our average would have been about 2500. The ground was full that day, bar the leftover seats in the block and a half the 72 Gateshead fans had. Attendence read out as 7200 but there was no way 2000 spare seats that day, Infact I'd imagine there were more than what were meant to be in the ground. We even turned loads away.

If Bury are still in form and in the Play offs then I'd say you will get 8k at least!
