Cambridge v Wycombe - if it's an away win, will we finish by 5pm?

What utter bollocks! Had that been a player doing the same to a Grimsby player are you telling me you wouldn't have called for a sending off? Of course you would and rightly so.

Agree. Yellow card all day long in my book. Defender knew exactly what he was doing and noticeably didn't make much of a fuss when second yellow produced.

 I've only watched it the once to be fair and it looked like he couldn't get out of the way, maybe I'll take another look at it.......

I think it was a yellow card, if it had been at the other end then I'd have been gutted if he's not been booked. Why some of our fans were applauding Legge is beyond me.

Wycombe were as you'd expect - niggly fouls, hoof up to Bayo who was his usual out muscling self (and it's questionable whether most of what he does is a foul or not) and then all their usual tricks when ahead. But we played right into their hands by giving them every opportunity to do it. Wycombe were stronger, smarter and frankly better than us. And the first two goals were excellent.

Derry has to go. That wasn't just a poor performance, it was dreadful. We all knew how Wycombe would play - why did our players look like they weren't prepared for it? What did they do in preparation all week? Why did Elito play ahead of Brown? (sorry Vanni but Elito is so ineffective it's untrue - are you blind?) Brown has been our brightest spark this season - he had to start. Why was Derry's only substitution to try to change the game the inevitable one of bringing Carroll on for Maris to move Dunk forward? Just play Dunk there in the first place ffs. The players didn't look motivated. Deegan was fuming in the hospitality suite after the game (no idea why he got man of the match btw - they shouldn't have given it to anyone).

So yeah, the sooner Gillingham take him off our hands the better. I'll pay the compensation myself! He's a safe pair of hands who will keep us mid table - we will beat enough of the poorer teams to stay away from relegation. But we won't beat enough (or barely any) top half sides while he's in charge. It's such a conservative decision to keep him in charge.

I'm pleased I didn't renew my season ticket this season. Aside from the home reasons for not doing so, I frankly don't have the motivation to watch us play so poorly every other week.

Finally quick point on the hospitality suite. I thought it was grossly overpriced for what you get. We got a hot buffet meal, 3 players not in the squad came in before the game and we saw the MOTM award. £40-odd for that is too much.
