It’s the big one then. Massive game for us, could really do with getting something here as teams around have ‘friendly’ fixtures this weekend. I’ve seen Cardiff a few times and they seem to be better away from home so here’s hoping more of the same on Sunday!
Although they’re 10 points ahead, we’re more than capable of causing an upset.

Getting the train over at 8am, what else you gonna do on a Sunday morning? Ciders and a brekky.

UP THE FUCKING CITY MIND
UREDS

I can see another score draw and I’ll happily take that.

2-2

"City boss says he doesn't feel Cardiff City Stadium is that intimidating, adding his surprise at the amount of empty seats at fixtures given how well the Bluebirds are doing." LOL

Come on the City boys, another draw I reckon but could be our first double of the season

I was too late to get a ticket so it's the beam back for me. I've never been to one before so that's going to be a new experience. :(
1,500 tickets? Bastards!

This fixture has gone stale recently but with both sides in the top six, the edge might come back somewhat.

Am I right in saying we've lost every game at Cardiff since they relocated? I can't remember us ever getting anything. Certainly we haven't won there since Roberts and Tinnion won it for us at Ninian back in 2002. Awesome day that was!

No reason why we can't get a point if we play like we did on Wednesday.

What train is at 8am? Unless you're going from outside Bristol

I would be embarrassed if this was on TV but standard fare from Warnock and the shaggers. How is that style of football 2nd? Beggars belief

I think this is why every man and their dog wants Warnock and his dinosaur football to blow it.

The second half doesn't sound much better TBH, not one for the purists methinks.

Cardiff heading for a third 1-0 win in a row, boring but effective.

Bloody horrible game of 'football'. We got sucked in by Cardiff's tactics and played absolutely zero football.
Boring, predictable, lilly livered performance.
Utter garbage and Cardiff weren't much better, they're just more familiar with this style of play.
pathetic City, absolutely pathetic.

Did it really take 70 minutes for Bristol City to have a shot on goal?

Apart from a scuffed effort just before half time, yes it did.
We tried to play Warnock at Warnockball and, predictably, came a pathetic 2nd. Cardiff did deserve to win but they were awful, we were worse!
I can't see us surviving in the top 6 and will probably end up about half way.
Shocking performance.

I genuinely can't put my finger on what's changed. When we play our game, we're really good but seem to be class one minute and total gash the next.
Today, was just plain naivety IMHO.
Fellow reds, what's changed?

Despite the shaggers being above us, at least we've been able to say that we play attractive pressing football while they were a bunch of ugly cloggers. Well, after today, they must be laughing at that statement.

Johnson needs to stop over thinking things and get back to playing to our strengths. Otherwise we are going to fall out of contention.

Truly terrible.
After the progress of a 'winning' draw against Fulham with a mix of direct play and beautiful interchanges, todays performance was a total shocker.

The biggest perplexion for me is that not once during the game was our best fastest and trickiest striker put up against the two lumps at the back. Talk about playing into their hands.

Brownhill is an above average Championship CM, and not a winger by any description. Why is he being played there? Surely the next Knockaert so say is a better option?

Only positive for me is Paterson looked better when he came on, he needs to refind his form and get him / Reid at the forefront of our attacks.

Cardiff are shit how they are 2nd is bizarre, chalk and cheese compared to Wolves.

Today wasn't 'attractive pressing football' Luke, it was garbage!

That was disgraceful. Alot of our fans like to think we are better than Warnock and his style of play. Well we played them at their game and lost. One of the worst performances I've seen in quite some time. Not a chance at finishing tenth at this rate.

And this is totally not in hindsight but if you play 2 big blokes up front and no wingers how do you suppose chances are created?

Too much long ball shit to compensate for out of form 'ballers'

It’s Joe Bryan & Ryan Kent, everything that has gone wrong has been down the left in the second half when they go wandering.

I don't want to blame Kent but it does seem to have gone tits up since he arrived. Then again, he didn't play today and we were worse that ever.
I'm not sure it's down to individuals TBH, maybe a loss of form for too many at the same time causing confidence to waiver?
