Lost on pens, never scored one! Pretty decent display beforehand on back foot.

Better then pretty decent tbf, thought we defended brilliantly, they started with Callum Wilson, Dominic Solanke, Jordan Ibe and Harry Wilson and then chucked on Ryan Fraser and Josh King but still couldn't score against us in 90 mins.

Had some chances to nick it towards the end as well. Shame about the pens but still a top performance. 2 footballing sides very few fouls or time wasting which was nice to see, a lot to be proud of.

Took 651 down there as well, which is good numbers for us. Great night.

Manchester United...will play...come onnnnnnnn...

...Rochdale. FUCK SAKE.
Haha I was exactly the same, especially with loads of crap draws already gone when Man U came out I thought it was finally gonna be our time.
Still happy with Chelsea though, if we can somehow beat Blundell Park lovers Macc of course.

Does anybody else spend most of the draw, as each shit draw home team comes out going ‘oh no don’t be us’ or is it just me?

I was just glad to avoid you guys as we would have had no ideas how you play and would have lost !

Particularly away from home .

Nice to get a money spinner too - as in the FA Cup always feel a bit sad when a giant killer gets a meh draw for their "reward ".

I know guys weren't in this case but talking generally!

Worth buying your ticket now I'd say, will sell out very quick and at that price you might as well go even if Macc get through.

Tickets for our game with Tottenham have gone on to general sale tonight online and it's a complete mess - a total free for all, the website has crashed due to the volume of Tottenham fans trying to get on there and the club's Twitter feed is just brimming with Spurs fans moaning about it. The home ends are going to be completely packed with away fans.

Couldn't have been that hard to sell tickets in person to people with a ticket for the Walsall game on Saturday for a few days at least. There's still a couple of weeks until the game, so it's not as though they're pressed for time.

Should have done Season ticket holders first.

They did for two days, but given the game is still nearly three weeks away it seems pretty quick to jump to general sale and not even people with a recent purchase history or anything like that first. Plenty of time.

Fair play to the 44 Macc fans for showing up for a Carabao Cup game in Grimsby when England are beating Kosovo 5-3 and then seeing their side lose on sudden death penalties after a goalless match. Hardcore.

Why was the Grimsby v Macc game on the same night as The Great British Bake off?

Surely would have been better to play it tonight instead.

Chelsea have agreed to allow a maximum allocation of 5,118 seats, situated in the Shed End of Stamford Bridge.

Season ticket holders, self-select ticket (SST) and Mariners Exile (MEX) members will receive exclusive priority for tickets when they go on sale on Friday 13th September at 9am. The date has been revised due to ticket delivery. Each of the above can purchase 2 tickets per season ticket/membership held. For your convenience, the GTFC ticket office will be open until 7pm on Friday 13th September.
Any remaining tickets will be made available to those holding a stub from both our Second Round tie vs. Macclesfield Town AND ticket for our Sky Bet League Two fixture vs. Crewe Alexandra on a 1 for 1 basis. Those with these stubs can purchase tickets from 9am on Tuesday 17th September.
On Wednesday 18th September, those holding stubs from EITHER the Second Round tie vs. Macclesfield Town OR Crewe Alexandra or are members of the Mariners Trust can purchase tickets on a 1 for 1 basis.
Any remaining tickets will be made available on general sale from 9am on Thursday 19th September.

The club seem to think we will sell the lot.

Yeah, they're being a tad optimistic for a midweek game I think. What did we take to Palace on a Saturday? 5,500ish? I guess we took what 6/7,000 to Anfield midweek I think? Maybe twice even? Can't remember what the attendance was the first time round when Owen got a hattrick.

We do seem to take good numbers to 'top teams', even mid-week, the prices are very good this time as well, Chelsea selling at £10 with £5 concession tickets is nice to see.

I am hoping to get tickets, but think I might struggle to get the four I will need, have to wait until the final day too.

I think we'll get close to selling out, but I reckon you'll be alright. I'll just go in the home end if I can't get away tickets.

I'll be surprised at anything over 3000 to be honest with it being a midweek game, even given the ticket prices.

As an aside there is a hotel as part of the Stamford Bridge complex. A twin room is £108 per night but on matchdays the same room is £258, the robbing barstewards.

^ He looks like he's watching that James Alabi 'clearance' on his smartphone ;)
That photo was actually taken immediately after he’d just been emailed the Police bill for our upcoming match.

Train tickets booked and paid for; £40:90 return for the wife and I from Shropshire to Euston, with our 'Old Farts' passes. Night with our son in Brixton as well. Just need the match tickets now!
