Sounded fairly open at the end there but never had any faith what so ever we would nick a winner, we just don't do that sort of thing this season it seems!

Oh well.

All three seasons since we've been back - they've all been missed opportunities. All three leagues were there for the taking.

Auto chances not done by any means, but we're starting to drink in the last chance saloon.

2 shit teams.

I don't think we managed more than one shot on target again, but Luton offered little going forward either. The only difference from Saturday is we didn't gift the opposition three goals, so I suppose a clean sheet is a positive. Surprised with the widespread clapping afterwards as it was a below par performance yet again, and that's now 5 games without a goal and one point out of fifteen.

Missed opportunity.

Is that a 0 in the score line next to Lutons name? Did we really keep a clean sheet tonight?

What a poor advert for "top" end of League 2 that was.

Luton are nearly as bad as us. I now totally get what Oak meant about having no guile to put teams to the sword. Plenty of the ball but absolute no creativity on show tonight. Kenneth mentions taking chances, there were no chances to take! A few off target shots, a couple of scrambles in our box and one good effort to force a good save from our keeper, that's it. No clear cut chances from good play.

We were no better than Luton in terms of creativity but there seemed to be a little bit more fight than we showed on Saturday. But it was 2 woeful teams, It had 0-0 written all over it early on and this is us who had not kept a clean sheet since October! Luton will be staying in League 2 with us next season on that showing.

That's now 5 games without scoring a goal and the gap to 8th has narrowed. Not a great night but could have been worse.

For fucks sake Greg we just got our first clean sheet in ages against the team chasing us and you still have to knock us, you could at least cheer up a little as it may be the only thing we get to be satisfied with for the rest of this season.

There was praise in there for a bit of fight, but I can't find praise for the fact that we were toothless (again).

Go to the games and you might actually see what I and others are seeing.

I was fucking working, not all of us have cushy 9-5 Monday to Friday jobs.

It's a result, doesn't matter if you didn't like how we played.

Unfortunately yes. I assume he has something incriminating on Jones as he seems to come back like a bad smell every 5 games or so for no apparent reason and he also gave him a contract extension in the summer for reasons I am not entirely sure of.

Didnt go or watch but im not surprised there wasn't much creativity with him on the pitch from us, whenever Lee plays we are painfully slow in possession whilst he tries to pick his hollywood passes but then decides to tamely tap the ball square or back to the centre halves.

Basically the midfield in general is a bit of a joke now, real questions need to be raised against Jones as to why he hasnt sorted it and we are having to resort to playing Olly bloody Lee in a game of this importance. File Jordan Cook under the same category as well by the way.

Gambin was your best player. At least he looked like he had a bit of energy amd urgency and wasn't shy of attempting a shot

Awkward scenes in the Sky Sports Centre tonight when the station manager saw a nil next to Luton's name on the results screen and immediately sacked the graphics department, only to find out he was the one in the wrong.
