We're not a lowly premier league club playing Man City. Most defences in this league border on the shite, so the best tactic is to test them from the off and let them worry about us.

Last time we got promoted from this level we won more away than at home. You get nowhere in this league by trying to contain teams away from home. Attack them, get the defenders running towards their own goal instead of having the game played in front of them. We've got a decent goalkeeper and defence for this level - and Aspin himself was a wonderful defender. He needs to grow a set or else the away form will continue to kill any progress we seem to make at Vale Park.

It was obvious as the commentary team suggested that Carlisle had very little up front so we should of gone for it from the off. Maybe shitting it from what happened at Colchester when it was game over early but they are flying in fairness and judging by what they did to the Alex it probably wasn't as bad as first thought.

Issue we have at the minute is Aspin doesn't know his best XI or his best formation for the players we've got. It needs sorting asap which needs a bit of consistency in the tactics and line up we are playing to get used to the system and each other.

As jbet says we won promotion by our away form in 2013... 4 losses all season on the road and we were top scorers in the land that year... we did not achieve it by sitting back and that was with the usually cautious Micky Adams in charge.
