He's a much better player than Walcott, his final season in the PL was fantastic and his numbers at Madrid are actually pretty impressive despite the constant stick he seems to get.

Bale is unfortunate in many respects, he can't be at his best with Ronaldo in the same team it seems and Ronaldo is better so he's the main man.

Bale has been a lot better this half though, I know he's missed two chances but been involed far more than Ronaldo or Hernandez have. I don't like Real Madrid but would like to see Bale score.

Any decent attacking player would post good numbers at a place like that with those players around him. Walcott would post similar numbers I'd be certain on that.

Walcott has also never had a season like the one Bale had in England (for a lesser side too) either. I don't think Walcott is a particularly poor player but he's not on Bale's level.
