Getting to finals doesn't mean a whole lot without winning them but that is a CL and a Europa final for Klopp in 3 seasons. Not bad, he clearly has an aptitude for European football. Just not finals. Let's hope that changes.

The good thing about playing Real too is that even those that dislike Liverpool will want us to win. Real are almost universally detested outside their own fanbase. And for good reason. The cnuts.

You know it's true. Admit it. Only a fucking moron would want Real to win a third Champions League on the bounce, no matter who the opposition was.

Well, unless they were playing United of course. Or Everton. I laughed at that last one.

I cannot believe we've got there! To come through pre-qualifying as well to get there, its been a remarkable run! Let's hope we can finish the job now in the final. :)

I hate all the top six, they’re all very disgusting clubs and I certainly wouldn’t support any of them against Real.

That said I do like Klopp’s Liverpool side and Pottechino’s Spurs. But on the whole the clubs are pretty detestable.

ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ!

Only thing lucky about us was Mane's season didn't end because of that horror tackle by Roma thug.

Most European fans will support Liverpool. No doubt.

Real Madrid arrived at the final with great effort. More than Liverpool. But they will be the big favorites.

Real has eliminated PSG, Juventus and Bayern. Liverpool has eliminated Porto, Manchester City and Roma. Real plays the fourth final in the last 5 years.

But football, you know, offers crazy nights. For the beauty of this competition, for all the football in general, I hope it will be a crazy night.

Just realised if we win this final we go 3rd on the all time list above both Barcelona and Bayern. Extra incentive right there.

I agree most people want Liverpool to win outside of Madrid.

Don't worry Jonny, with your billionaire owner, new stadium (pffffffft) and Wenger taking over, you'll be getting knocked out in the last 16 every campaign within 10 years.

So Roma are absolutely livid about two decent penalty shouts not being given, while completely ignoring that over the course of the tie they got two incorrect penalties given instead.

Italians, eh.

It's just that they managed to take things so close. Dealing with the disappointment of losing by a single goal in a 13 goal, two-legged thriller can't be easy. The natural reaction is to lash out, concentrating on every decision you deem was wrong and went in your opposition's favour whilst conveniently ignoring those that went in yours. The shit Buffon came out with recently when Juventus lost won't have helped either, pandering to the siege "them and us" mentality that the Pallotta's comments were simply an extension of.

So glad Liverpool won. Firstly to English football and secondly because Italian's a pr*cks. Can't stand them, generally speaking anyway. They are always so hard done by, always moaning, always gloating with a slight bit of success, boring, loud, cheating - the list can go on.

7-6 flattered Roma in honesty. They shouldn't have even come anywhere near that score line.

They had 2 penalties that weren't penalties + an outstanding moment of pure luck from Lovren/Milner. So that's 7-3. Don't forget the fact that the last penalty was scored literally with seconds to go, even at that point there was no chance they'd go to extra time.

Thinking back to last nights game, it's hard to actually think that Liverpool lost that 4-2. On paper that looks like a spanking, but that was far from true. Liverpool were by far the better team over the 2 legs, it wasn't even really close in quality tbh

I don't mind italians in general but they do have a knack of accusing others of what they're exceptional at themselves, such as corruption. Takes one to know one and that. And whichever way you look at it, an Italian side other than Juve in the semis of the Champions league is a good thing. Just like it'd be very good for top level football if a team that hasn't won it in 13 years wins it ahead of one that has won it three times of the last f our. Diversity sparks interest, and we're seeing less and less of it.

Real have had some luck in this competition but you have to remember that they've beaten Dortmund, Spurs, Juventus, PSG and Bayern on their path to the final.
They haven't.

I take your point but you’ve literally just described Liverpool.
