Easily 20,000+ Wednesdayites at bramall lane for that one, seemed to be everywhere South stand, shoreham and john street as well as usual bramall lane end.
Well both grounds still held around 55,000 then so I guess it was just turn up and pay on the day at both venues.

Aye but gone self employed over last 12 months and not been arsed with putting in the hours since Tax deadlines were done. Back in tomorrow for first time in three weeks.

I'm sure both games were all ticket, one at Hillsborough definitely was.

So many stopped away because I think they were expecting a heavy defeat, there's only one Rotherham fan where I work and he had booked today off because he was expecting a defeat and didn't want to face 50+ Wednesdayites taking piss again.

Just shows how unpredictable football is, not pretty for most part but Rotherham had a plan that worked well. Warnock might be disliked by many owls fans but we can't deny what a top manager he's been over years.

SUFC biggest mistake in my lifetime was getting rid when they dropped out of prem.

And i think thats what separates your loyal supporters to the rest, i would go to any away match if i could get there wether i think they would lose or not, the 2500 fans or so who was there was our hardcore bunch and the other 2500 from last year are just ya typical plastics who like to sit in utter silence all game and turn up to an away game once in every 5 years. I heard a few fans making excuses sayin there staying away because they dont want to sit in a rusty old stadium, fuck those type of supporters, who cares about the surroundings, probably the same people who bought season tickets a millmoor in a rusty wooden stand.

Yeh,Millmoor was a proper old school ground...I once remarked to a steward there was nowhere to wash the steak 'n' kidney off me hands.
His reply: 'Piss on 'em!'
I bet you wouldn't get customer service like that at The Emirates.

Think that's a bit harsh, they just enjoy the game and day out in a different way, who are we to judge how people act at matches?

You can't fault their commitment, they go all over, often watching shit but still attend come rain or shine.

Think I'm somewhere in between them and you. I go to watch the match more than I do to get pissed, wouldn't dream of sitting down away from home though, that's boring as fuck.

Would you,if you saw your lot running at some opposition fans in the street, join in with the charge?

Why would he do that?

I'd be more likely to twat someone in Bristol walking down the street with a Manchester United top on than I would someone supporting Brentford from Brentford.

How many have we sold? 800+ would be decent given our record at their place.

We've barely mustered up 500 mate. With no pay on the day that's not getting any larger.

Meh, not great at all. People have saved their money for Fulham it seems; don't blame them, we always get hammered at Molineux.

Sold out for Rotherham tonight, 2,600. Setting off in an hour or so. One of our shorter journeys.

A low following at Forest tonight wouldn't surprise me at all, with most forking out for Bolton & Blackburn.

Wonder if we'll break 150 tonight. Fourth away game at Huddersfield in 14 months, with a reserve team, in a competition that has finished for us this season.
