It's almost as if you'd not played Preston in 11 years and Blackburn had played them last season

That's not to say it's a good following from Blackburn, club their size should be taking more than that 10 miles down the road

Any Barnsley or Rotherham fans know a rough figure for how many you're bringing to Hillsborough? Expect more Barnsley for the night match even though they usually lose and Rotherham usually win at Hillsborough.
We've sold "just under 1,900", so we'll have a shade over or under 2,000 there on Tuesday.

I'd be the first to admit that under most circumstances that would be absolutely woeful. But at £36 a ticket most of our supporters (including me) either can't, or won't, pay to go. I'd have fully supported a boycott but infuriatingly, like when we played Leeds, there's a lot less than normal going but enough for the home club to justify charging what they do. Football's fucked.

Yes 36 quid is expensive but your travel is literally nowt, you'll easily spend a lot more going to a long distance game? That's why I don't get why so many Wednesday fans refuse to go to Leeds.

Cardiff is now sold out and wolves have gave us an extra allocation. We've been given the corner bit which will take our following to 4200. Quite surprised wolves have done that tbf. El Guapo, there is some serious tossing off going on in my house.

The price is nothing to do with why you don't travel to leeds. #shitscared

There goes JJH's paper-round money.

To be fair he's offered to pay straight away. Had another bet with him ages ago that we'd make the prem before city so he can add it on to that. :bg::bg:

£40 tickets

Wednesday take more to Ipswich with the same price tickets as they do to leeds. They take a fucking thousand 40 miles away. Not just a one off bad following they've done it 3 years on the bounce. Like I said shit scared

Just hope they don't televise this year and then hopefully normality is restored.

Don't think that's a main factor either. If you played derby away on sky you'd sell 2.5k + every time.

For me it's because it's also a 200 mile round trip on a Tuesday night.

I think for a lot it's because we've always had terrible results there, but more so because they don't want to give £36 to a "rival" club. But then 2,500 paid £37 to go to Leeds so I don't know.

Blademan is right it's definitely a factor, always sold out before the bother at Hillsborough for the Kirkland match, not even sold half the allocation since. I know they have all been on Tv but don't think it's a coincidence. Lots are put off by the fear of violence. Don't know what these people would have done in the 70s and 80s.

Great turnout by us at Brighton. Struggling to get rid of our Preston allocation on no-transport day. Villa away will be carnage in away end. Generally all good.

It would have been totally different people with different views that went in the 70's and 80's. Most of the fans that go now wouldn't have gone back then especially to away games.

Plenty of time for Leeds to fill it, could be a good game that, annoyed that I only fly back to England in the evening.

Probably going to miss the Wednesday game too as i'll be in the Lakes for NYE.

Two decent fixtures.
