Police hitting Birmingham fans with batons after our game. Hope they will have an inquiry.

That was filmed by a former Chief Inspector who said they had overreacted. Wasn’t there myself but heard that it was just Blues fans having a sing-song on their way back to the station.

Try going to watch England away if you think that's bad. Spain and Italy being the main 2 for repeatedly hammering us for no reason. Croatia was by far the worst I've seen though dozens of English with blood pouring from their heads all on the way into the ground.

Agreed - WMP are the worst, especially at Wolves where they seem to be in cohoots with the home fans..

It's funny you should say that, I've been going Wolves on and off for twenty years to Wolves/Blues games and have often thought we seem to be up against one united force...

Kicked off in Berlin last year as well didn't it? Two lads I know got arrested after the Old Bill stormed an Irish bar - apparently very over the top.

2001 Play-Off Semi Final at Molineux..... home fans in the above tier start chucking down coins, bottles of piss etc after they score. Old Bill shrugged their shoulders and said they couldn't do anything. One or two kids were being hit by the fuckers.

After the game, a few mates of mine - not even looking for trouble - got jumped on their way back to the station. The OB ended up arresting two of them and claimed they didn't have the resources to chase down the Wolves lot. Neither of them were charged and they got let out a 3 in the morning, first train home wasn't for another few hours. Bet it's still the same today.

It kicked off with the germans I just missed it, I'm not sure about the story you mention. They were geared up for it though so it wouldn't surprise me. Their was some reyt bellends there though tbf. I remember going to Madrid for a friendly and seeing 2 coppers getting a proper hiding under the subway but many English got a hiding too that night off the plod.

We are a nice bunch of fans, really...

Always kicks off when we play each other too at both grounds. I don't find going to Wolves intimidating at all to be honest, far better than going to your likes of reading,Fulham,Derby etc. I remember getting kept in when I was a kid after you'd attacked us on our way out. We were in the Southbank then. Will of been around 2001 I think we won 3-1

I suppose that's the downside of having that reputation abroad. I don't watch England, but I know a few lads who go away and I have a lot of respect for them. Can imagine they are treated like shit at times.

Agreed. It's not the sort of place you'd want to be gobbing off, but I certainly wouldn't miss the place if we never played them again.

Yes we are. We have a reputation still from 30 years ago and cop for it off the police and other fans for example Russia in Marseille. But it's all part of going and we know what to expect.

Sadly we have a few twats (wouldn't call them fans) who give the rest of our supporters a bad name. We seem to have more twats than most clubs in that regard

In my, admittedly limited, career following England, Wolves have always had a terrible reputation for taking club issues to England with them. I experienced it in France '98 where literally nobody would mix with them.

Been to Molineux three times and think it's a nice, modern ground, not intimidating. It kicked off the first time I went when we had 3k there, but nothing since, or at Ashton Gate.

To be fair it's true, some of our fanbase have been known to piss into a plastic beer cup and pour it down onto the lower tier in the SB stand. Saw it happen once when we played Stoke when they were in the Championship with us. The WMP did sweet FA either, to the surprise of many...

Do you get plastic beer cups in the Steve Bull? Just plastic bottles in the South Bank.

Not denying things get thrown but find it hard to believe people piss in bottles then throw it.

I only sit in the South Bank so not sure, the game I'm on about was 2006 or something though. Definately heard various away fans complaining of having piss poured down on them from the upper tier though.

Edit: it was the same season as Pie and Pint gate when Moxey gave WBA the South Bank, so yeh the Steve Bull stand were still serving beer cups back then.

I'd rather just get my dick out and piss on the fans below rather than going to the trouble of going the toilets to fill a bottle up with piss then walk back to your seat with it. Obviously I would not do either but fuck me. Wolves are very much like blues but we never get much hassle off wolves for some reason although it's not to say there is never trouble.

Obviously it's only a very small minority of neanderthals, we're not all that bad

Its hard to believe anybody would do it, might have happened once or twice over the years but you hear loads of clubs claiming it. More likely just the dregs of a bottle of lager.

No one quite gets it at Molineux like Blues do to be fair not even Albion which is a bigger game. We seem to have a friendly rivalry with Villa but that might change the more we play each other.

Yep, that playoff game is well known down here for how "violent" it became. Spitting, pissing, throwing coins, cups - anything they could get their hands on. Not just aimed at fully grown adults but hitting the elderly and kids too.

The old elderly and kids remark again to make things sound worse. I think the disabled got hit too didn't they

The worst violence I think I've ever seen was at your old place in 1984 and I've been virtually everywhere in this country watching football. Absolutely mental!

Them and Norwich are always claiming we've attacked OAP's, women and children, 16 years ago that game was they've been crying about it ever since.

Truth is the truth. You think moronic Wolves fans have such perfect aim that they can only hit the fully grown adults? I don't think violence of that kind should be tolerated at all in football. People don't pay to get spat and pissed on and have stuff thrown at them - that is the lowest of the low. Or I could let it slide, make a witty little comment on an internet forum to get a few virtual likes..

I agree with your sentiment, and trust me I condem such disgusting behavior as you do, but it gets fairly annoying when we get general sweeping statments of a whole fanbase just because of a handful of idiots.

The majority of us are just like you, a fan who goes to watch their team on a Saturday, whom has no interest in behaviour such as what we have been talking about.
