18,500 guaranteed for Friday at home to QPR, assuming they've sold just under 1k, will hopefully get near 20k again.

800 sold for Blackburn next Monday, probably get to 1,500 dependant on how Friday goes.

El Guapo, so 900 of your fans are coming to villa park on coaches. 18 coaches, 18 coaches!
15 coaches offered free with a match ticket, and a complimentary bottle of Heineken. Fuck that.

Doubt many would have took the offer up. Far easier to walk, bus or train it there.

well 900 of your fans have taken the offer up. It was 15 but it's risen to 18 now.

That's truly embarrassing, what is up with people I think we once ran a supporters bus to Hillsborough and about 20 people went on it so it never happened again. Basically 900 out of 2000 are scared to make their own way and have to walk round the area of villa park. It's virtually impossible for trouble to occur around the stadium at these big games as the police have it fully under control. Another pathetic example of modern English football.

I wouldn't mind but we always get shit for having 5 or 6 coaches that travel from out of town to St. Andrews then half of their fans travel to our place by coach. And we are the ones that are scared apparently. Thing is villa park is nothing like St. Andrews with the latter being more hostile for away fans. We shall see anyway but it's been stated that 900 of their fans have decided to jump on the free coaches.

5 or 6? It's a fact that there was at least 3x that last time. And the Gil Merrick car park was absolutely rammed when we played you in the League Cup from having a bigger allocation. Where has it been stated that 900 are going by coach? I can't see anything said about it on VillaTalk, H&V, SHA, Twitter, etc.

MOMS forum. There was a police meeting last week between fan groups and it was stated that the 15 coaches had now risen to 18 and 900 of your fans would be using it.

Broadly speaking, the principle aim is to have Blues fans coming in via Witton station and Villa fans approaching from Aston station side.

Potentially making the police’s job easier is the 18 free coaches (up from the original 15) that will shepherd 900 Blues fans into the ground. All fans will receive a free beer/soft drink, which is a positive step by the club and sponsors alike, a good-will initiative that perhaps Villa should consider replicating next season for Villa away fans heading to St Andrews.

I wish I had their confidence of there being a reverse fixture next season... :err:

QPR sold 1,600 for Saturday, pretty surprised at that. Fair play.

Surprised me too, saw before coming on here that we'd taken the second allocation. The fact we sold out Brentford pretty quickly probably pushed people into going here instead.

I'll be there with 2 others, looking forward to seeing the new AG. Will be my first visit since the opening day 2-2 in 2008 or 09. Was a cracking day out then, if Friday is half as good I'll be pleased.

I thought that. Tbf I think villa park are going to give zola a standing ovation when he walks out. He's doing a superb job.

Why isn't the derby on TV this year? Usually one of the few derby games I try to watch when it's on.

Massively surprised at this number. POTD available as well? Could well be one of our highest followings this season.

I do love an away day but I fucking hate that the bulk of our support sits down. Who does that?! The club should offer more tickets for younger people (say up to age of 23, rather than 21) as a subsidised rate as we have an ageing fan base.

fuck knows mate but its scandalous. Not the greatest of games in terms of football but this derby still has the fire in its belly with no help from WMP.
