The whole end or the initial allocation?
If it's the full 4k that's fantastic support.
Thought only Villa and Leeds of the Northern and Midlands would sell out the whole end down there.

You'd take 4k if you were top. We took about 3.7k on 05 when we were I think quite early on.

Did Villa sell out at Reading this season in midweek?

I'd say around 2.2k, sold 1,400 with 17 days to go, sold around 850 for Ipswich on Sky in fortnight.

Just a little stat, of our last 330 away league games we've failed to take 1K in 32 (only 2 of our last 123) and six of those were sell outs. Nothing sparkling but a fair consistency.

Your away support has always impressed at LR. Not just in number, but noise as well. When we were both in Div 2, your support then was up there with the top 3 away fans I've see (albeit not a season ticket holder anymore and didn't go much when in the prem).

Millwall, Newcastle and you. Can't work out what order.

3k , even more if you win you'e next 2
Doubt it mate, hardly the most appealing fixture or away day is it.

That said it was a great day there this season, found some decent pubs near the station, bus straight to the ground and we shithoused a 1-0 late on.

Think Wednesday had 2,400 there last year which is still decent.

Have you been before? I assume you'd go via Paddington if you get the train.

Your Ipswich following is pretty decent as well, I thought it'd be sub 500.

Been several times and always choose to go via London as it is better for boozing. Still a truly wank away day mind.

Aye not bad. Not for me midweek mind.

Reading town centre is sound I think, just wank at the ground and wank getting back to town. £35 for youre next 2 away games is good going from reading and ipswich too

It's pretty shit that there's nothing around the Madejski and the Madejski itself is dull, but it's alright in the centre by the station.

Don't blame you, I wouldn't bother with it being on Sky. I'm giving Sheffield United a miss on the 8th December as it's a Friday night on the tele, used all my holiday already so just gonna watch it in town.

I find the town centre to be pretty shite too, especially if you get herded into that pub next to the station, I can't deal with Wetherspoons type pubs either so we tend to stick around London until as late as possible.

Never been herded anywhere there. Only go in spoons till 11am. Some proper little old school boozers , I can't remember the names of them like been a while. Can' beat London for proper boozers though

Might go again then, I have a 100% winning record there (only been once) certainly won't be driving again though.
Found nowhere to drink at all last time (near ground) just a city mainly underwater when I last visited.

10 bastard times I've been to that dull ground. Every time we've played there except the very 1st time I think.

Just checked it's 9 out of 10 not 10 of 11

4-0 was our worst in the fa cup. A league cup game in 05 which Warnock told us all not to go to as a complete reserve team will be playing is probably my most bizarre trip. I think I actually went to that 1st game there too I'd just forgot but been told I did so seen us play every game there, probably one if my most visited grounds along with Preston, hillsborough, maybe forest watching united.

If my memory is right Preston is my most visited ground watching united.

Pne 12 times
Swfc/reading 10 times
Ipswich 9 times
Forest 8 times

12 times to a ground to watch your team mind.... you have a few PNE mates I remember you saying don't you?

I've been to Reading four times seen us win twice there, best one was the 0-2 on valentine's day when we sold out.

Most visited ground is Molineux I expect, think this season was my 5th or 6th and the 1st time I've ever seen us come away with anything.

Depends how often in the same league as a team, virtually every year with pne for nigh on 20 years I'd guess. Only been mates with them since warsaw with England in 2012 I think it was. I was a bit of a sad twat for 7 years too didn't miss a single match home or away. Old Trafford or Wembley will be my 2nd most visited ground in England due to England games. Not 100% sure but I reckon I'll of seen united at 100 grounds.

Quick check 103 in the UK to see united including old grounds and friendlies, may of missed a couple

Anyone buy a drink at those beer stands outside of Reading's stadium? Was fairly decent if I remember, mostly bitter though.
