Some of our older lot recall a dodgy game up yours when we played you in the fa cup in the early 90s, I think it was. I think you came on the pitch at the end and we had a rough ride up there.
Yeah I remember that game, Teale and Livvo got sent off real early for scrapping each other and it gave the game a real edge from then on, when we equalised in the second half we really should have gone on and won we were so much on top but then Dwight Yorke cut inside and smashed one home and your lot were celebrating hanging off the top of the Osmond fence, think it was always gonna kick off a bit after that to be honest.
One of the best atmospheres I can remember at Blundell Park that game though.

I couldn't possibly comment on that. The thing about Burnden was that the away end exit was a bottle neck, so as an away fan, you had nowhere to go either back in the ground or out and the stewards/coppers would never let you back through the turnstiles

Yeah we were sat behind the goal, I thought that was your Kop didn't know it was the family stand, that's probably the reason we got away with celebrating without any trouble then.
What a game as well, 2-0 up after 8 minutes yet left there delighted to be going home with a point.
It were a funny time that, I remember us always taking the full allocation as well, never understood why but it was an awayday we all enjoyed, and I still to this day dread the name clive mendonca

If wolves weren't having the season they are having and say they were mid table, they would be lucky to have 2k at blues tonight.

They easily sold out. They do that with us when we go, I think it makes it easier for the police and stewards if they need to move in amongst them.
When we sold it 2 years ago we only had 2,600 seats, 150 people were turned away at New Street for "looking like trouble" so the attendance was only 2,450. Here's the piece if you fancy a read a short it sounds pretty far fetched, but our fans sued the WMP over it: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/uk-england-bristol-37321837

WMP are wankers. 50 odd of our fans got sent back on trains at wolves away after police entered a pub and decided that the fans were after trouble. Some never had tickets mind, but a few did. Millwall have only got allocated 2100 at our place and I know there has been several police meetings regarding the game. Millwall fans won't have the liberty of even taking a piss on Saturday. I can imagine what kind of following they will be bringing with them though.

Our allocations are weird since we came down. In the prem it was 2900, but it got cut short in the championship to around 2700. We don't give everyone the full 2700 though for some reason, even if they could sell it out.

We might not sell out anyway with it being on sky 2 days before Xmas, our away support ain't up to much this year.

Really? 1,000 down in Cardiff midweek, sell out at QPR midweek, Friday night sell out at Leeds... only poor following imo was at Boro.

They're honestly a disgrace mate, as I said on here before we have more trouble with them on our trips to the midlands than we do opposition fans apart from when we play Wolves. They're a joke, they treat our fans like absolute scum and there are clubs in this division much worse for trouble than us.

Cardiff following was top drawer and the qpr one was good too. Boro was shit, Leeds didn't fully sell out but at £39 on sky is not too bad I suppose. Poor following at millwall and only 1700 to bolton midweek was pretty shit too. The demand last year was far higher

Anyone would think you cause bother everywhere ffs
Still no explanation on the QPR allocation from their club or the Met Police. It's ridiculous, we sold out at Villa last year on a Tuesday and there wasn't a hint of trouble anywhere that I heard of, I bet even Millwall have been allocated more than us...

We always seem to cause ‘bother’ at London games, not sure why. The WMP don’t like us either or anybody for that matter!

Have we sold out QPR?

Depends who we play, against QPR, Millwall, Charlton etc there has been in recent years but playing clubs like Orient and Fulham there never is.

1,100 sold of 1,700, doesn't look like it'll go to general sale which is a shame as a few of my mates are after tickets for it.

You just had to didn't you :)
Think there were probably more Bolton there that day than there were home fans, most packed I've ever seen the Osmond proper limbs everywhere when you scored!

Fair enough, but they do only allocate a paltry 2,000 these days.

We've sold out our first two allocations totalling 3,001 for Barnsley on Saturday. Another 300 now on sale. Just shows that with sensible pricing and a half decent day out possible our numbers can be ok even if we're playing shit like we are at present.

Tbh 3.3k for a relatively close match with sensible pricing whilst on a good run of results (even if you think it's shit) is no better than average imo.

Our 2k to Forest was always going to be a sell out, shame them and you don't give bigger allocations like you used to.
