I usually find with us, the smaller the following the louder we are. Not bad numbers for a 400 mile round trip.

It could be due to the fans who want to sing being concentrated in a closer proximity?

When you’ve got a following of 4,000+ you’ve often got numerous pockets of fans in different areas of the stand chanting different chants at the same time... making it harder to chant in unison.

The fact that we've gone from a well-run club in the heart of the community, to owned by a bunch of Thai proprietors who portioned up the land around the stadium and then sold onto distant Chinese owners who, if they pull the plug anytime soon, we'd be in dire straits financially.
