Was the Reading £20 offer last year reciprocal or not, and if so did you do it? I know for certain we didn’t charge Reading £20 at AG.

No. It's only £20 In a couple of weeks too, tbf it was only £22 at ours for them, we didn't do the £25 with Ipswich last year either.

Reading brought a few up to you last year didn’t they, free coaches I think but was still a pretty decent following.

Brum are charging us £20 for a couple of weeks time and have given 2,800, should think that 1,800 will be plenty unless there’s a change of manager between now and then.

Stoke on NYD is the one I’m looking forward to now.

How many do you think you wil take to Stoke, Derby away to Norwich on the 29th, will be shocked if we take over 1500.

It’s new year’s day so probably about 1,200ish? Not sure we’ve not played there for 10 years or so.

Can see Leeds selling out every game, which is impressive. That’s if their form continues mind, which I think it will. 2650 for us, and Wednesday make up the top 3.

Ours is shocking after that crap start but at least we have Norwich, Ipswich, Bristol City & Swansea out of the way now. Midweek games to Villa & Leeds were low numbers too.

Birmingham, Forest, Wednesday & Rotherham next up which should help.

Wigan, Bolton and Blackburn away to come.

Ours is appalling despite having 3 sell outs already this season. Villa will probably sell out, and Hull on the final day if we need something but that’ll be that. We don’t even have many local games left, such a northern league, will probably end up on about what we’re on now.

Ours is higher than I thought. Had a couple of long journeys but not too bad midweek. Rotherham tonight will be around 400 max I would have thought but the shit journeys seem to be on the weekend; until Sky move games.

If we end higher than last year then I will be happy.

Is it really that northern? 10 northern teams( plus maybe forest, derby. 8 southern teams then villa,Brum, wba and stoke. Your just a bit out the way as 2 of the ones I'm classing as southern are fucking miles away from you.

If we can stay over 1k for the season it’ll be a good effort by our standards.

It is definitely a northern league.

PS, I didn't create this. It still has an old badge for QPR.

I’d say so, and the southern clubs all won’t allocate us more than 2.2k so we ought to feel sorry for ourselves this year.... :lac:

Edit - had forgotten about Millwall in fairness. That might sell out though didn’t last year.

since when has form or being a decent team affected Leeds away numbers? the away fans go no matter what

I just think we are getting slightly better allocations this season hense being ahead of Villa

Top 3 pulling away but the next 4 not much in it , as I was saying all along, think we might break the 2000 as our average this season, next 3 , Stoke sold out 3001 ,Wigan we will sell over 2000 and Sheffield United will sell out 2200 and something, so by Christmas should be in the top 5.

I agree with this 100 percent, and I am a Derby fan, no love loss between our 2 clubs, but Leeds have always taken good numbers away, since I can remember.

Believe it or not, but it does. Last season you started off great, and sold out everywhere. Your form went to shit and your numbers dropped slightly, which resulted in 3/4 games not selling out. Preston 3500/5700, Fulham 4000/4500, Villa 2200/2600. The season before last, you made a poor start and a some away games never sold out, then you started doing well, and pushing for play offs and tickets were like gold dust again. You pull good numbers majority of time regardless of form, but you don’t sell out all the time, which is what I’m on about. If your form goes to shit around Xmas, and you fall to mid table, then you probably won’t sell out every game. Youre ahead of us, because your away support is much better than ours.

Everyone knows this, but form can effect away numbers, even for Leeds. Still better than most cubs, even when they are doing shit.

A few seasons ago Leeds took 3500 to Blackburn on a Saturday 3 o’clock KO. When Leeds are doing well they sell out at Blackburn 7k midweek. That’s an example of what I’m on about.

Very poor followings from Preston and Hull, but to be fair, Preston started very poorly, and Hull fans have had enough of how the club is being run, surprised that Birmingham are not a bit higher, but they are a bit up and down like ourselves, Bristol is very poor at mo, and I do not give a toss how far they have to travel, a following of just over a 1000 is poor, and they had a good start to the season.

What's your obsession with Bristol city's away support.

Completely agree. Whether people think the leagues northern or not, the clubs in the south have much smaller maximum allocations.

In previous years, we’d have benefited from Fulham and Charlton where we’ve taken 3000 regularly. When Watford and Brighton we’re down here we’d take almost 2000.
We’ve sold 1300 for Forest on Saturday which could well go up quickly if we win tomorrow.

Considering we’ve had Derby and Leeds away midweek so far, it’s a pretty good average from us
