Not sure if it’s just me but thought Norwich’s following wasn’t great yesterday, Brighton had 2k at ours late KO on Sky when they were top at a similar time of year. Certainly not a bad following but I expected more given how good their support is.

Must be a good hour less travel time if not more though from Brighton.

Probably about an hour but still, shouldn’t knock 700 off and Norwich have always been better supported away from home.

If there’s no need to talk like a dick perhaps you should stop “talking like a dick” with every post you bless this forum with.

And then you go from calling me a keyboard warrior to making a threat from behind a keyboard, nice one Grandad.

'Shit city'? I think we can safely assume Derby1971 has never been to Bristol then. :hypo:
True I never been to Bristol, done 48 league grounds but never the ones in Bristol, so I should really get there soon, to sample the boozers and the stadium.

A quick Google shows you played them on the 5th November too and they brought 1885, so no where near xmas and 500 more not 700. Come on jj at least get your facts right first mate.

Thought it was 2,000, not far out anyway and regardless it’s still a better following than Norwich’s. I didn’t say it was a poor following, just that I expected more from them. They had 4 figures up at Hull in midweek a couple of weeks back iirc.

Good away followings from Boro and Norwich, and not bad numbers from Brum, at this time of the season away/ home numbers can be down a bit due to Christmas, a bit surprised Stoke did not sell out at Villa, (do you still get 2600 at villa park), also low for Wednesday but understandable' as they are not playing well at the moment, and most of there supporters, are fed up with how the club being run.

The fact Norwich played there game at this time of year( Near Christmas), the distance, game live on Tv, it's a great following, your lot would never take those numbers in the same situation. Also you are sending me to sleep with your boring posts, now go on your ps4 and get City promoted.

We’re not nearly as well supported as Norwich are away from home so if we’d have taken the same in similar circumstances yes I’d have said great following.

And epic par mate, I’ll try and stop my sides from hurting before doing so.

Always rated Norwich home and away . Remember them taking 900 away to Blackburn midweek a few years back. It may have been a cup game, I cant remember.

We take more midweek than we do tv games on a level field. 1300 at Brentford, 1000 at reading this year as a comparison. We're not too badly travelled midweek tbf though. We've got Ipswich next week, don't think the eventual following will be any different really than it would have been if it was midweek. 800/900 or so.

Yeah you’re not, you sold out at QPR the same day we were in London last year which I thought was quality.

Any idea if Wednesday had 4 figures at Swansea yet? Think they’ve had 4 figures at every away since 2016 Walkley said on here before.

Last time they didn't have 1k at a 3pm game where enough tickets were allocated was 2010 at Yeovil. 988, walkley told me that so will be right.

Meant for any away not just Sat 3pms but I don’t doubt that’s right, hell of a record in fairness.

I think Ipswich was the last one, for a Midweek match about 2-3 years since from memory.
Southey will know for sure.
