Rumours circulating that we are going to receive more, but ticket office and our twitter have said we won’t be getting anymore.
Computer said No a couple of days ago, but systems are all back and running, so the club can allocate the further seats, assuming we are still here and the match goes ahead

I think they should have been given the cobbold but not 7k (Cobbold may be 7k actually ). They had the whole upper last season
Ridiculous decision not to give them the whole stand. Should've taken the money

Looking forward to Saturday.

6 of us getting the train up early doors to New Street, should arrive around 11am. It’s my first visit to Villa Park so not really sure what’s around the ground.

As for the game, probably won’t remember it.

You on the 8:30?

In terms of what’s around the ground, not a great deal for away fans. We’re staying in Brum (railway, bull ring tavern, sun on the hill) until half 1ish then heading over to the witton arms as it can get lively out the back there, it has done the last two visits. Shit beer/cider though.

Aston Hall which is a grade 1 listed building built around 1618. Members of Black Sabbath grew up in the terraced streets of Aston, so that’s always worth a visit. Plenty of places for you to pray for 3 points. As for pubs it’s either Witton Arms, or The Yew Tree. The rest are home fans only.

Going to see where the members of black Sabbath grew is about as appealing as seeing where Black Lace were born ......

You should try living this every day. Only football supporters understand what the loss of their club will mean, EFL and FA don't care about any us, they pinned their colours to the banknote way before the clubs did. D Day today anyway, KA will lose his shares in the club if he doesn't sell the club by 16:30

I seem to have gone off Oasis and Stone Roses.

Still listen to Ocean Colour Scene and occasionally blast a bit of Arctic Monkeys.

My missus is in love with Alex Turner, the absolute slag.

I'm more of an old school 90's Hip-hop guy, myself. Although I do listen to all different genres of music.

Nah my era is Oasis, Verve, OCS, Stone Roses....

though the first AM album was fucking excellent, not that I'd go to High Green via Hillsborough please.
Loved Oasis, and still listen to them now and again. The Verve had some alright songs. Like the Stone Roses too. I got brought up on 60s/70s Rock.

All fucking class.

I’d say the first two AM albums are top notch, when Turner was writing things relatable to the people of that time.

Also brought up on a lot of 60s/70s, my old loved Fleetwood Mac so still listen to a lot of their stuff.

Also a fan of hip-hop although not so much 90s as early 00s, 2pac aside (unless we’re counting the likes of Jay-Z and Nas)

You lot all sound past it.

Get some IDLES and Run the Jewels on next time you're polishing your golf clubs.

Can’t stand Idles. Just shouty nonsense.

Poor version of Slaves.

I'm a big fan of Slaves, seen them multiple times but you're spouting shit here, Idles are the best live band in the country right now. Probably the best album of 2018, Slaves haven't really backed up their first album.

Not seen them live, I’ve seen a video of them doing Live Lounge and don’t get me wrong, they’re fun and obviously enjoy what they’re doing. I just can’t get into it.

Fontaines D.C. are worth checking out, seeing them next week.

Definitely got shades of The Fall. Hurricane Laughter is a cracker of track.

Not sure I’ve heard anything of theirs. Will check them out on Spotify on the commute home.

Enjoyed Slaves latest album to be fair.

It was decent enough but don't think it had much lifespan, listened to it a few times but not sure if i'll ever go back to it.

Yeah that’s fair. I think Foals are one of the best bands around at the minute but struggling with their latest release aswell. Will have to give it another go.

Haven't listened to their new album yet but i'm a fan.

Shame - Songs of Praise was a top album last year if you haven't heard it.

I’m quite conservative in my mindset. I struggle with change and progression. My musical tastes are mainly set in the 60s and 70s. I should try out new stuff a bit more than I do.
