Well a great day out, will be coming to Bristol again, on the train back we nearly bounced through the floor lol, we might have pinched it off Wednesday, or Rangers? Who cares we do it so much better, we are coming for you Leeds, and your spy's will pay for what happened early in the season, and well done to Norwich and Sheffield United, you both deserve to finish where you are, now who will win the play offs, still fancy Villa myself, but Frank is a luckey manager, so will it be Terry or Frank who returns to the prem, can not wait to find out, as a Derby fan being in the play offs Is success for us this season, so bring it on.
Good day out? Where did you drink?

Yes enjoyed the day out, always do if we win, thought you had chances as well, could have gone either way, thought sending off was a bit harsh, our second goal was well made and finished off well, went to the pump house, then walked about 5 mins down the road to Nova Scotia. Also thought the atmosphere was good, or was that because I had a few to many.

Strange that PNE police tweeted that there was 4,239 owls at Preston when swfc ticket office tweeted midweek that we had sold over 4,500. Plus they were a queue at ticket office outside away end yesterday with fans purchasing tickets.

I should think so, it's the best day you've had in 13 years.
Should be the best home atmosphere Ipswich fans have experienced too.

Yep I agree, whod have thought wed be in this position 3 years ago.

Hard to tell when you're all stood up, but there definitely looked more than 4,300 there.

Looks closer to 5K to me.

We should’ve won I think, bossed it even with 10 men and the decision goes against us but oh well, happens.

I think I’d have met you yesterday then, we were in the Pumphouse around 11am when a load of Derby came in. We were sat at a table and a big black lad who said he also supports Liverpool came over and was chatting to us. Was a group of about 20 I’d say, some middle aged and some clobbered up lads. Thought it’d get a bit lively when we saw them coming in but they were sound. One of them came over and said hello we recognise you we were speaking to you when you were coming back from Sheffield Utd the other week but I didn’t recall, was plastered that day.

We went back to The Bear, then back to the Pumphouse. Tried Nova Scotia but it was full.

Atmosphere was decent in both ends yeah. AG can be brilliant for big games, usually average though.

I did speak to a few City, there was about 8 of us, and met a few more inside the boozer, good day out, and yes we did ride our luck at times, will not be going to Swansea as I am working, so I hope my next away game is at Leeds, AG was good yesterday, but by the time I got to the ground I had a few, if we are in the championship next year, which I am sure we will be, I will come down to Bristol again.

Probably spoke to you. Was a decent crowd in there to be fair, Nova Scotia was full of Rams so wasn’t too disappointed we didn’t get to the bar in there.

Decent array of clobber on show.

One of my mates smashed his pint glass by the main bar, not sure if you were still in there then. If so, was with that tit.

Deceptive that, was pretty empty down the sides and a fair gap towards the middle. Certainly less than 5k but wouldn't argue over a few hundred either way of 4,500.

A fair few returned tickets towards the end of the week maybe.

Good numbers regardless.

Yes it was a decent crowd, can not remember anyone breaking a glass, might have been in the Nova Scotia at that time, to be fair, some of your fans were saying how much they have enjoyed the season this year.

I know of quite a few with tickets who stopped in Blackpool and didn't bother with the match.
Top day out

I’ve not enjoyed watching us at home that’s for sure. Away from home another matter...

Is that to do with the football or the day out, I always enjoy away games more as it's about the day not just the football.

Just the football. I always enjoy the day out, make a day of home games as well, but it’s just that we’ve been tripe at home.

No more than 1,500 heading Millwall tomorrow, pretty incredible that it’s ended up being a dead rubber.

Wouldn't say it's a dead rubber at all, beat Millwall and Derby have to play in-form Swansea, meaning there could be 1pt in it going into the final game.

No chance. Boro have Rotherham final day as well, I’m going for the day but won’t be arsed if we don’t end up bothering with the game.

Having seen Boro this season, I could definitely see Rotherham pissing on their chips.

There will be some final day bottling.

Giving 1 point to Villa has ensured 4th spot for them effectively which is great.

Just need 1 point from Ipswich to ensure 3rd then that pans out ok - would like Derby to stay 6th. Looking likely:

West Brom v Villa
Derby v Leeds

Tough games but would have a preference for Derby (or Bristol City) more so than Boro.

(Norwich and Blades very worthy for going up btw).

Hoping you get third and we play West Brom. That in itself will be an hard game, but playing at Villa Park with the crowd behind us for a big game will be a bigger advantage than what Albion have when we play at the Hawthorns. Want to avoid playing you over two legs. I do have a feeling derby may surprise Leeds though. That’s if you end up playing them.

We must obviously fancy our chances but it wouldn't be a surprise to draw both our games and miss out to Boro.

The top 5 seem to be a cut above the rest IMO, all beatable on the day but who ever finishes 6th will be big under dogs over 2 legs vs Leeds.
