Class following from Wednesday, but I expected them to sell the full 5,500 with absolute ease.

Good start to the League campaign, August bank holiday weekend, hot weather etc.

I know August is usually notorious for lower attendances due to people being on holiday etc....but you Yorkshire scruffs only go on holiday to Blackpool anyway don't you?

Nobody goes on a proper holiday to Blackpool, maybe for a weekend like we're doing but a fortnight there and I'd be jumping off tower after a week.

A few of regulars who come with us are going to Leeds music festival or Cricket at Headingley.
They've had this planned for months.

Cricket at Headingley.
Poor blokes.

Had 5 tickets in my virtual basket on ViaGogo Thursday and we were going to sack Hull away off to go, I’d be spitting feathers now if I’d paid £125 to watch a non event.

It is a good following , but I’m surprised they haven’t sold out. Purely because they have made a good start to the season. They only took a few hundred less last season when they weren’t doing well.

Last season it was our last away match.
We traditionally take good followings for the final away game.

I was gonna chance it, heard it can be a bit dodgy though? We’re just going onto Hull instead still, should get in at about 11. Be less there than we had at Derby in midweek I reckon.

Aye, if only we could be like Derby, neither club has had a great last twenty year pal.
Was not having a go at Wednesday, just saying with where you have been your away support is very good, Derby have usually been at the right end of the table in the last 6 seasons but we had that awful premier league season, also a few poor seasons in the championship as well, so Derby support also stands up well, but that's our home support more than our away support, both clubs have a loyal solid fan base, like a few more in this division have.

1,175 Hatters at Oakwell. Didn't seem to make much noise until the end of the game, can only assume they were in shock at how easy their win was.

Must be something to do with the openness of the ground, or the acoustics, or something, cos it seemed pretty loud all game from the right hand side of the away end, but we rarely heard anything from the home support.

There was a good reason for that...

No doing a good job at Preston, you are also looking a decent team, early days I know, but I think you will take some beating at deepdale
