Possibly, but it's getting there that's the problem.

It'd take a hell of a lot to convince me to wake up at 2/3am and do a 7 or 8 hour journey to go and watch a game of football that's on Sky, however bad that sounds.
Is it that long a journey? Train is 5 hours, same with driving.....

On the Saturday before Christmas? Not sure you'd do it that quickly, and you certainly wouldn't chance it if you were travelling a nearly 600 mile round trip.

2-3am may have been a bit exaggerate, and I may have slightly miscalculated. If it was me, I'd be leaving between 4 and 5 o'clock latest.

If you set off at 5am you'd piss it by car

Bit the bullet and been and bought tickets for Sheffield Wednesday this morning, £36, :bl:.

I just can't imagine not doing football on Boxing Day, the thought of actually having to speak to the in-laws has me feeling physically sick.

Gone and bought West Brom tickets this morning. Not really sure why - I think the FA Cup is shit, but I'll make a day of it as there's quite a few of us going in the group I usually go with.

2,500 sold, went on general sale at 11 this morning.

Also picked up my Reading tickets whilst I was down there, should be looking at 3k minimum there.

The FA Cup is brilliant
Agree to disagree.

From my POV, we always get a shit draw, and it always creates potential problems such as injuries and suspensions. I think the fact that now even some Championship & L1 sides aren't fielding a full strength sides says all you need to know about how the clubs value the competition.

It's shit, I'd be happy for what happened against West Ham last season for us to happen to take place at The Hawthorns; give a good account of ourselves, put on a decent display, but ultimately lose. Concentrate on survival, it's worth far more to us currently.

Sold 1,500 for the Boro game, 5.15 kick off on Sky, so not bad.

Also 2500 gone for Fulham.

I'm with JJH. The FA Cup is shit, and a waste of time. I'll be delighted if we lose to Hartlepool, so we can concentrate on the league.

I love the FA Cup but invariably we aren't very good in it, plus it hurts like a bastard when you lose in 120th minute of a final replay. Bastard Cup.

I want to love the FA Cup, but our draws the past few seasons cannot have been worse. Eight away draws in a row, six of which are in the same division as us. Second year in a row we're facing Huddersfield away...

Only thing worse is league midtable mediocrity. Which we're trying to do our best to avoid.

Well I'll be going to WBA regardless. We will lose but it's the day out for me! 15 lads on the minibus, blaring out Wurzels with the odd beer or two...

Ahh can't beat it. It's proving popular too with 2,500 sold already, just went on general sale today.

Enjoy fella.

Sold a decent amount for Reading as well considering the game isn't for another 2 weeks yet, does anyone know the maximum allocation we can get there this year? Remember when we had 5k there under Johnson, but I read somewhere that they don't allocate that anymore?
