Benidorm is class to be fair but your season ticket guarantees you tickets for some great away days as well. Personally I do both, was in Benidorm last weekend.

I do , although not the football this season but Benidorm beats all home games, I love the place.

You'd have to leave your house before 2:58pm from now on to take advantage of it Tommo so you sure?

£320 in the South Stand, £14 a game. Very reasonable.
For an adult? Surely not.. think my seat on the dolman wings was 415, 15 quid rise from last year. Comfortable with that price wouldn’t want it going much higher tbh

Risen to £345 according to Walkley, £15 a game which is more than fair.

This incentive is to get people into buying season tickets, unfortunately the people who have work commitments or live outside of Sheffield have to suffer.

But it's not going to encourage anyone to buy a season ticket, it's just going to put people off buying a membership.
Having to go to at least 15/16 matches (or spend shit loads in the club shop) to make it worthwhile renders it almost useless.
The idea of the hierarchy at Hillsborough is to stop POTG either by purchasing a season ticket or (previously) purchasing pre match and saving money on the on the day prices with your Membership.
Now with the membership being £90 it is more or less useless.
Can only see us losing more fans due to Chansiri's greed/ commercial naivety.
Unfortunately down to nothing to do with football but just pure affordability we are going to lose out on many youngsters and newcomers to Sheffield, they are going to choose the Blades instead, they got bigger home crowds last season and unless something changes dramatically at Hillsborough (either price wise or less likely promotion) this is going to become the norm rather than the exception. Well done again SWFC.

Having to go to at least 15/16 matches (or spend shit loads in the double shop) renders it almost useless.

They only got slightly bigger home crowds despite being in the top 6 most of the season, and we're still well below us on away numbers. I can't defend the prices they are a disgrace, but just trying to point out why Chansiri is doing it.

Did you go out to Portugal for the week Blade? One of my mates supports Exeter and they were out there the same week and said there were shit loads of Blades about.

Hardwork this, yes our away support is still higher than theirs, because we pay more or less the same price.
Our home support would have been too, if we were paying the same price, but we're not, hence why unless we have a really good season our home numbers will go down, while theirs will stay about the same.
Also they will pick up more kids and newcomers to Sheffield.
If pricing stays the same they will become the better supported club in Sheffield, whether you like it or not it will happen.

Benidorm is an absolute shithole. I prefer places with a bit of culture these days. In Croatia as we speak, and will be heading into Bosnia today.

I've tried loads of places abroad but Benidorm is number one for me, yes it attracts a few nob heads and there's a few beggars hanging around but you can get that most places across Europe, it's great for nights out with loads of entertainment around new town/area and if you do want a change there's loads of bars around old town.
There's some cracking hotels and beach is one of best I've stepped on.

Oh and beer is cheap as chips. :2thumb:

Where you at VL? Guessing you're off down to Dubrovnik if you're heading Bosnia way. Did quite a bit of Croatia last year before Hideout, class place.

Benidorm's alright if you just take it for what it is and crack on. Normally only there for a few days so no point worrying about all the scrubbers. It literally is South Yorkshire abroad though.

Further allocation of 2,700 for Forest handed to them which will be their lot. Stopped giving teams the whole Atyeo it seems.

Are you going up south Yorkshire police's route and just randomly blocking a thousand plus seats off for no reason whatsoever?

Just not handing teams an advantage by giving them the whole end I think.

Someone on our forum suggested that this may just be a one off because we've had off field trouble with Forest in recent years, but it always used to go off when Leeds came down as well and we've had trouble with Wolves as recent as 2017 and both were given the 3,700.

Forest would've sold out so lots of fans without tickets that are annoyed.

Their definitely ain't no advantage having a full away end, absolutely none whatsoever, complete myth that fans make a difference. Man city's fans are as quiet as they come home and away, they managed just fine as do real and Barca, and Chelsea, or on a lower scale Fulham, arsenal, us in league one. Basically fans/ atmosphere is irrelevant

It's a myth that fans/atmosphere can make a difference to a teams performance?

Completely disagree with that. One of the maddest things I've heard in a while that.

I disagree as well. Did you watch our game with Leeds on the box last season? Crowd completely spurred them on.

Home fans can make a difference in my opinion on special occasions, saw it first hand at Pompey last season. Away fans though make no difference whatsoever. Was lots of fun in the Premier League sending all those 5k away ends home empty handed. Hopefully we can do the same this season.

£30 for Villa away. Shouldn’t need anymore than our initial allocation at those prices, our fans are tight as cramp.

You see it all the time don't you. Pretty baffling thing to say.

I would say you see it occasionally, it certainly happens but I don't think it does regularly, otherwise how do clubs like Fulham end up getting promotion?

You honestly think people singing and shouting makes footballers suddenly play better ?

Sometimes large, vocal pissed up away support makes the players more nervous if owt. We've had good support for the last 20 years and only had about 4 good seasons.

Exactly. Leeds fans are as good as they come home and away and yet they are consistently wank. They were quality last year on the Friday night yet lost.

I think atmosphere can play a part at certain times, must get a rush of adrenaline when you're breaking towards a full away end in full voice.
