Mourinho could learn a thing or two from Dyche instead of talking about conspiracy all the time.

Bit of a WEIRD thing for Burnley to put out imo (just accept you got the rub of the green, eh?), and I think his analysis of the Matic incident is a bit bullshit

Seems like an alright geezer tho

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
And all poor Jose got to put his case was a slot on Goals On Sunday... He's so hard done by.

Great interview from Dyche, that. Fair and made some good points.

Which part? I thought he made a good point about the challenge on Matic. No one thought the challenge was awful in real time apart from Matic, so you really can't blame the ref for not giving red. However, the part where he talks about it not being a "tackle" is bs. I think Barnes knew what he was doing.

No. I was just stating an observation. Both are ones which if they don't go for you then you feel a bit annoyed but if they go against you then you feel hard done by.

Cahill's was more of an obvious penalty claim then Kightly's though.

Thank god Sean Dyche has just added a sane and calm viewpoint to proceedings, instead of presumably turning up and banging on the doors of Sky Sports demanding a platform to spout a couple of hours of Chelsea propaganda like Mourinho did.

Another retrospective ban for Costa anyone?

Ban reduced to two matches for... Well, no real reason it seems.

Chelsea are 'appalled' that he's not allowed to retaliate because he got all crosspatch.

FA's reason.

“In reaching this decision the members of the Regulatory Commission rejected the mitigation advanced by Nemanja Matic in respect of the provocation and tackle he received which led to his act of violent conduct.
"The violent response of Mr. Matic to the nature of the tackle cannot be condoned and does not vindicate his subsequent actions. The members of the Commission did, however, accept the mitigation in respect of the level of force used by Mr. Matic and the nature of the contact he made with Mr. Barnes of Burnley FC.
"Having made those considerations we determined that the standard punishment of a three-match suspension would be clearly excessive and, therefore, ordered that the suspension be reduced to two matches.”

No its not. They're too scared to give him a 3 match ban and too scared to not give him any punishment at all. It's as if Pagnell wrote that.

The FA are a bunch of shit c***.

Whatever happened in the second before, it was violent conduct and retaliation. Now there are degrees of violent conduct as sanctioned by the FA. If you are dead angry, you can lash out if you want.

Bollocks to the FA buckling to pressure of one manager ranting on Sky. You can bet your arse they would never do that for a player at any club outside the pl.

Probabky four matches as the appeal was 'frivolous'

Matic only banned for 2 games for surviving a potentially career threatening tackle. Seems fine to me

Lol Chelsea fans not happy that the ban was reduced to 2 from 3? According to the rules he should have been banned for 3 games...4 after the appeal. If FA is in anyone's pocket it is Chelsea!

Nah, if I'd wrote it I'd have made reference to a pretend Irishman from Barnet who has supported Chelsea since 2003.

Two wrongs don't make a right. FA rejecting the Matic appeal is correct although still reducing it to two games is a bit bizarre.

I highly doubt he's supported them since 2003, to be fair. He's only a wee lad and Chelsea didn't even win a title until 2005. I'd wager his transformation from a Barnet ST holder to a Shed End ST holder happened somewhere after 2011.

I'm not a barnet St holder any more. They got relegated to the conference and I lost interest....Obviously.
