Chelsea are again expected to be without Eden Hazard, who is still nursing a groin problem.

Winger Pedro could lose his starting spot after a poor display against West Brom, with Kenedy an alternative option for the champions.

Everton reported no new injury concerns after their draw at Manchester City.

Tom Cleverley has a 50/50 chance of returning from an ankle injury on Saturday, but Seamus Coleman and James McCarthy remain out.

Forward Steven Naismith, who is a transfer target for Swansea, has a minor ankle injury and appears unlikely to be involved.

MOTD COMMENTATOR'S NOTES
Steve Bower: "The point that both clubs picked up in the week will have been more pleasing for Everton than Chelsea. Roberto Martinez's side have been resilient on their travels this season and will feel this could be the weekend to end their dreadful record at Stamford Bridge.

"There is no doubt they are stronger defensively after the return of captain Phil Jagielka, while in-form Romelu Lukaku will be looking forward to returning to his former club.

"Guus Hiddink has brought a much-needed calming effect to Chelsea but their defensive frailties are, at times, still there for all to see.

"If Diego Costa can channel his aggression sensiblyand upstage Romelu Lukaku, a Chelsea win takes them to within a point of Everton."

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY
Everton manager Roberto Martinez: "Chelsea are a team full of winning footballers. They won the league so the quality is there. They have players that can produce magic.

"They have had a couple of very impressive performances under Guus Hiddink, and have shown plenty of fight."

LAWRO'S PREDICTION
Chelsea will probably feel they should have beaten West Brom on Wednesday. Everton got their draw against Manchester City but this is another tough game for them, and I do not see them holding out again.

Prediction: 2-1

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Almost a minute over the time added on and offside.

That's got to hurt for Everton!

Offside equaliser scored 50 seconds after the allocated time. Didn't deserve that.

Martinez continued faith in Tim Howard goes beyond all reason now. Chelsea didn't look like scoring until him and Jagielka messed up a simple ball over the top

But how do you suddenly find an extra minute from those seven?

There is a huge lack of consistency in the time added on, though. In the second half of the City game today, there were two goals, six subs, one of which was Kolarov being stretchered off and two bookings. And there was two minutes. Not that it made any difference to the result, but basic timekeeping should be the easiest thing that officials could standardise?

50 seconds added on to 7 minutes doesn't seem too much of a stretch when the game managed to get an extra 7 minutes from 45. seems rather consistent with the rest of the half actually. i didn't watch the game, maybe there was time wasing, an injury, the ball out of play for an extended period of time, or whatever else. either way it's defined as a minimum amount of time and it's at the referee's discretion when the whistle goes for full time. either that or we've got yet another conspiracy on our hands.

But 7 minutes is rare and was from one long injury.

45 seconds out of seven minutes is pretty much 10%. If that was standard games would routinely get to the 100 minute mark.

the additonal time, cornfirmed by the bbc, was added because everton toook over a minute to get back for kick off after their 90th minute goal. ie. time wasting. seems fair enough to me.

Everton had a number of chances to get the ball clear as well but yes the goal was offiside.

Much like Man City were denied a late penatly in the week which helped Everton.

Electrifying second half! Everton took off with the two first goals and it's hard to believe Chelsea would react but within few minutes they got the tie. And there were other good goal chances for both sides. Terry redeemed his own goal with the tie goal in the extra time, in which he was obviously in offside position. The victory should be from Everton, not only because of this not valid goal, but the 8 extra minutes in the end also seemed quite forced.

Hiddink had it spot on in his post-match interview. The offside was an awful decision but the time added on was understandable given Everton's celebrations.

That's twice between Everton and Everton's fans that they've shot themselves in the foot with over-exuberant celebrations so far this season.
