I want 2 hrs of my life back. Is there any other top league where the game between the top two sides is as shit as that? So boring, no ambition from Chelsea who made 3 defensive subs, put Hazard on defense when ATTACKING set plays and basically had no desire to attack or play for anything. City weren't much better, but at least they wanted to score. What a boring game.
You mean Chelsea put their smallest player back in defence when attacking from a set piece? THE SHAME!!!

Boring. Embarassing to call that a title race. Isn't like the old United/Arsenal days when they despised each other, or even United/Liverpool 09 with local lads on each side desperately wanting to beat their rivals. City and Chelsea players won't have even heard of the other team 10 years ago.

As for Mourinho, he's obviously a top manager but fuck me he's so boring. Knew he'd lob Cahill on for an attacker.

People seem to be forgetting that Chelsea didn't need to win this game. Obviously it would have helped but it was more important to them to not lose. Other than the goal, the only other obvious chance I remember City having was Aguero in the first half when he shot wide after a long ball

There aren't many managers that would go on the defensive in a mid season game like Mourinho did, he treated it like a CL semi.

And this is why he's so good, he knows the value of every point come the end of the season.

Having already blown a big led once at the top of the league it would be fucking awful if we'd have done it again.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.

I thought they came across as scared. They've played such a consistent side all season, it's like he didn't know how to cope with losing a couple of players. Had to play '19th Century Football' against a City side also missing some key players, in iffy form and with some key players still coming back from injury because he didn't have the confidence in his or his players ability to beat them.

You already have once this season only to be let off the hook.

Five points isn't a massive gap.

It's not a massive gap but I'll certainly take that considering we've played all the traditional tougher games away from home (apart from Arsenal) and we've got only Liverpool and Man Utd to play at home.

We'll have to seriously mess it up from here on in if we don't win the league.

Ahhh it'd be lovely to see Mourinho preside over an Arsenalesque collapse.

I hope the players get adequate rest before our game against PSG. Everyone looked quite tired.

It's possible we might fuck it up....It won't be nearly as dramatic/funny as it would Be With Arsenal or Liverpool though.

Yes, they did. Mourinho's been really quite reluctant to rotate the squad and I think the 120 minutes against Liverpool took a lot out out of a group of players who have played a good deal of football already this season. Might have been another reason for the conservative approach.

Yeah, we play Villa and Everton before our PSG game. There's some good gaps between these games. Should be ok, I guess.
