Nothing less that 3 points. Stoke are a decent side and we have been far from convincing this calendar year...We should have enough about us to win this though.

A chance also to put some pressure on City who play on Sunday. If we win and Arsenal and City drop points we can pretty much start celebrating.

One of the most amazing goals in the history of the Prem that is.

Zamora has been usurped already, I bet he is absolutely devastated.

I don't know if I'm being harsh here, but Courtais was never clawing that out as he attempted. Would it have not been a better bet for him to try and punch it over the bar as that's the direction the ball is traveling? I know it's split second decisions as a keeper but as it was dipping, I mouthed 'punch it over'. I don't know, maybe I'm being far too harsh on the keeper there. It was a belting hit.

Paul Robinson's goal for Tottenham would have been further. Great goal though.

Edit - seems Tim Howard and Maynor Figueroa have struck from a longer distance. If it was longer than Xabi Alsonso's against Newcastle it would have been the longest range goal from an outfield player in open play. (In the Premier League anyway)

3 points and another game less for Arsenal to catch up.

I think it's pretty clear Eden Hazard is the best player in the premier league right now. It'll be farcical if he doesn't win the POTY.

Sanchez? The same guy who's gone missing for the last two months.

Let's not pretend Hazard isn't partial to blowing hot and cold over the course of a season. He's not even been playing badly either, our other players have stepped up in scoring. Sanchez has still scored more and assisted more despite playing less (and without penalties). Much better defensively as well.

And I take Aguero over both when fit.

Hazard must be the best penalty taker in the league. So clinical and cool.

Next week against QPR for me is our hardest game left to play bar the Arsenal game. We have a pretty tough run in.

The keepers might as well stand aside and let him score.

He seemed to look top left yesterday, so the keeper thought he was actually going right, but stroked it just left of centre. Great technique.

Didn't Alonso also hit a long ranger from about the half way line as well? That may have been in a cup though.

Anyway well done Charlie Adam - Dundee man done good! A mate of mine grew up playing footy against Chaz.
