Did a Band Of Outlaws / Envoi Allen double and singles. That's one half in. Makes me slightly up on the day I think. If Allen goes in I'm well up. With The Codfather I'm fairly confident. If the horse has anything like a chance at the end Jamie will get it out of him

Only worry with frodon is that he likes to front run and it will be difficult up the hill in the mud with some very good horses in behind just waiting to pounce. I'll be impressed if frodon can win tomorrow against these. Don't let me pit you off tho, follow your hunch

Missed the 1st race due to train being late but got some of Tuesday losses back.

Urgent De Gregaine e/ way & backed
Politilogue on the rails e/way 14/1.

Went to see Altior & you could feel the tension in the air coming up the hill even though I'd backed Politilogue who ran a cracker I didn't mind coming 2nd to witness him equalling history.
Tiger Roll looks a machine , I was hoping to go centre course to witness Cross Country but that's confined the expensive tickets not us cheapo's.
Not as busy as Champion Hurdle or Gold Cup day , plenty of viewing room in Best Mate other than 3 stupid great Magniers signs in the way.
Took about 25 / 30 mins to get a pint & I have zero patience , lots of hip flasks being produced ( note to self )
Getting out the train station is like a military operation , loads of metal barriers leading you onto buses , getting back on the train is different kettle of fish , no prisoners taken & was well lucky catching connection back home.
I'll probably be buying early bird tickets for the Thursday 2020 next week then I've ticked off every day , though an upgrade to include parade ring etc.. definitely on the agenda.
Hope you've all had a few winners today , next 2 days look tough , though most people on train seemed in good spirits & had had some success .
