Chris makes obvious comments but he doesn't mince his words most of the time, and I remember watching the SPFL season review last year and he, that Irish guy and Michael Stewart looked as if they wanted to take matters further, outside! They were at each other the whole show, great stuff! :D

He tried too much to be funny on last week's MOTD (Fabregas should be on Coronation Street) and yes he looks like he'll spit out every single footballing clichés under the sun. Reckon he'll get better though as he looks bright enough.

Often pundits are accused of being bland and sitting on the fence.

The above certainly cannot be described as one of those!

Never afraid to speak his mind or disagree with the men sitting next to him..
Problem with Sutton any time I've seen him is, Yes he can be outspoken, Yes he won't sit on the fence (whether he is right or wrong), but he refuses to accept that he CAN be wrong & has an air of an arrogant prick about him. I am glad I decided not to criticise him!

he's fucking great - I can't work out if it's for good or bad reasons yet but I find him entertaining.

Yes. He had a 28% win rate as manager of Lincoln and he played a pretty pivotal role in our relegation to non-league, although it was actually Steve Tilson who took us down.

He's a bit Talksport for my liking. I'm more of a nice cup of tea with Jermaine Jenas kinda guy than a getting glassed by Chris Sutton in a flat roof pub one.

He's one of my favourite pundits even if he tries too hard to be controversial sometimes. He's certainly more interesting that most that's for sure.

He was a shite manager.

Most of the pundits who have been managers are!

He certainly is a bit of a marmite pundit - agree with both sides of the argument.

Not bad that Sutton isn't afraid to speak his mind but does come across as aggressive and dismissive at times.

Really? I guess it is all relative.

Kudos for winding up Craigan though.

More in the Robbie Savage school of "speaking his mind" than the Gary Neville. Always get the impression that no one he's alongside can stand him. Love to see what happens if him and Martin Keown ever disagree on MOTD. Hopefully they'd knock each other out

Got a bit of a monotonous voice. Speaks his mind though. Not the worst pundit.
