On to Coventry, then.

Not sure if Hanson's fit, or whether if we'll actually need him going on Tuesday's performance.

I can't see McCall changing a winning team;

Colin Doyle

Tony McMahon
Romain Vincelot
Nathaniel Knight-Percival
James Meredith

Danny Devine

Nicky Law
Josh Cullen
Mark Marshall

Billy Clarke
Jordy Hiwula

Will we score? Who knows?

If we have a new striker in which we're supposed to according to Mowbray I'll feel more confident but until then I imagine we'll line up like this:

Reice Charles-Cook

Willis
Ricketts
Turnbull

DKE/Rose (If rose is fit)
Gadzhev
McCann
Page

Jones
Sordell
Reid

I'd be tempted to play Hanson just because Cov really struggle against him usually. Maybe now Pressley has gone they actually practice how to defend aerial attacks though.

Fuck it, we're currently playing like a team managed by Pressley at the moment - none of this dark ages fooozball anymore.

Should be a great game to watch - be like the el Classico. Pass move. Pass move. Reid > Row ZZ

Pressley was more pass sideways, pass sideways.

My first game of the season so looking forward to this one especially after a couple of good wins and talk of nice football (who knew such a thing existed?). I think we'll win this one, as above I'll say 3-1, and cheers for Vincelot btw

Did you play Vincelot in defence? I thought you played him at DCM?

He'll slot in alongside Cullen in midfield once Darby, McArdle and Killgallon are back.

yeah we did last year but this year I think he would've played CB as we have McCann and Gadzhev in CM

Vincelot at centre half? Never saw that here...no idea whatsoever why Mowbray sold him.

Hopefully we look a bit more clued up than Tuesday, too many running down blind alleys. We have a new centre half and a striker so am looking forward to seeing them play.

How's Reid started? Will be weird seeing him on the opposing side. Hope he has a shocker but I think he will be well up for it.

He looks ok, a couple of crosses and shots have hit row z but overall looks like he'll be an asset. Don't think he's fully fit yet though.

That about sums him up fit or not, he'll waste it a lot (too often) but he'll also have the odd full back on toast and smash a few in over the season which is never a bad thing

He's be great if you told him to never shoot, this might surprise you but Reid has been used in a narrower role infield mostly since joining and even playing a central striker role in his short time here.

Taking off your only real outlet for Marcus fucking Tudgay in the 60th minute just invites pressure lets be honest here. I've been one of Mowbray's biggest defenders but that's just an awful decision.

Easy prediction this lads. Just fucking end the season now, can't be arsed with 9 months of this shite.
So easy that it took an unexpected red card for it to happen.

Gutted to lose but at 11 v 11 we had a deserved lead and were looking good.

Just a question to the people at the match

Taking into account the new rules that accidental fouls are no longer red card offences when a penalty is given, did the ref fuck up or not with the sending off?

Depends if Turnbull went for the ball or just tripped Clarke. If the latter then it's a red card

Denied a clear goal scoring opportunity,he knew exactly what he was doing.your clutching at straws me thinks. As for the match, first half not much in it but i thought Cov just about deseved to be in front.Second half we were much better and attacked with real intent,in the end Cov just couldn't contain us and we ran out worthy winners.Who needs Hanson, great start to the season.

Turnbull grabbed Clarke and pulled him to the floor, it was a clear sending off. I don't know what he was thinking. Cov looked ok but we were poor first half. I think we'd have won 2-1 anyway but the sending off made it easier. Cov just disintegrated.

Cov were good in the first half but we came out much better in the second half and were building pressure even before the red card and pen. Then it was a formality.

Reid could have won it with 2 one on ones but he did his standard and fluffed them.

Agyei looked quality can only assume he was knackered. Got a good player there.
