So THE big game of the weekend pits the tinpot moneybags upstarts against, erm us.

Apparently they are quite shit, but on paper have a decent team and manager so will probably come good just in time for tomorrow. After our worst performance of the season last week, we can only improve and maybe score more then once for the first time this season, apparently we've been working on attacking in training so you never know, it could finally click. Tbf we're not doing bad, 5th in the league brilliant defensive record so if we can start creating more we'll be a force and hopefully a bit more entertaining to boot.

Vince will enjoy this one as it gives him a chance to visit his good mate and business/charity partner G Nev.

On balance I think I'd prefer a 1-1 or even better a 2-2 than what I expect we might get, nil, nil.
Yes we could loose 3-0, but please just give it a bloody go and take it from there, rather than this brexit version of the game we've developed...

Looking forward to the banter with all the Salford fans on this thread.
I think we might be waiting a long time for that to happen.

Some people look on us as country bumpkins but it does seem like the people of Salford haven't discovered the internet...or perhaps they haven't realised that you can talk about football on it, in addition to watching endless cat videos.

Passed an early pitch inspection after heavy overnight rain.

Salford resorting to trying to kick the shit out of us, we're passing them off the pitch. Totally different class, we're playing well but they're bloody awful.

Blimey, well worth that, though Salford pretty basic and as Chris said, resorting to hacking us now. Some nice moves for the goals too.

Great for Matty and Aaron's confidence to finally get off the mark.

Ebou's been immense.

4-0...that should be enough...we have only conceded five goals in our previous ten league games, can't see us doing that in the eleventh!

Well, after that bollocks that week that was excellent. Foot off the gas a bit second half but bar the odd moment you always get barely troubled. Onwards and upwards! Ebou MoM you'd say but lots to enjoy, especially another clean sheet.

Good ref too I thought, might have given us a pen, linos got a few things weirdly wrong but that's par for the course, otherwise good with advantage and talkings-to rather than cards.

Remember the name James Oldham. A half decent ref, so wont be in league 2 for long.

I thought Salford were meant to be bossing this league by now.

Sky and the BBC will be calling for an inquest wanting to know why their beloved team is failing.

They are dire, I’m really surprised they haven’t pushed on at all. Taking pastings a bit now too, could go down but imagine they will buy in January.

Facilities are terrible so maybe they’ve took the foot off the gas to sort themselves out off the field.
