Ranieri appears to be a decent bloke, but he's got his work cut out hasn't he?

I thin it depends on the management team he brings in. If he can bring in top assistants and sports scientists, I can see him being fantastic. If it's all down to him, not good for Leicester.

That was a worry with someone new coming in as so many managers are stuck in a back 4 mindset. Not really sure what he means when he says he wants to add the 'Italian tactical way'. The old Italian way was defend, defend, defend patient build up and score the odd goal. Nowadays that's not the case but there isn't really a clear identity in Italian football anymore I don't think.

On the contrary I think Ranieri is a good Manager! I saw him here, in Italy and precisely in my team, Juventus, in a moment of ours story very complicated, but thanks to his play at the return in Serie A We arrived 3rd! A great results for a team emptied of Champions and full of young players!

My fear was that after going to a back 3 last season which saw us go from an awful run to an amazing run, that Ranieri would change that and we'd falter. He's managed to get us back to a 4-4-2 and has us playing exciting, attacking football. My main fear has been allayed.

He has done well not to 'tinker' with the team too much and has built on the good work done by his predeccessor. He will go through a sticky patch where things aren't going well, and Pearson went through that but eventually managed to get them through it and playing well, we'll see if Ranieri has the nouse then.

Having said that they are doing wonderfully at the moment and it would be great if they got top four from here as the stats have heavily suggested they could. Good luck to them.

No chance Leicester will win the league but credit where its due in saying he's done an excellent job so far. I wouldn't rule out Europe.

He did alright at Monaco but the fight for the drop is fiercely competitive and other candidates have good managers who have proven they can work on a budget and keep a side up. It's not a bad appointment but I think he'll stay one season max.
