Good win. Well done to Pym and the defence for keeping Carlisle out as it sounded like they pushed us hard in the final 20-30 mins. On another day it probably could have been 3-3.

It’s so nice to be able to grind our results and it’s equally great to be back to the top of the league.

Another tough game next wk vs Wycombe which will continue to test us.

saves late on from Clint Hill and Luke Joyce were especially worldly. As to be fair was Gary Liddle's clearance off the line. I'm honestly not too bothered with how we played today, you were clearly a good side. We didn't threaten enough in the first half but other than that, can't fault us, got the crowd up in the second half, enjoyed when James Brown took on the whole Exeter team single handed. Kind of funny really that the game was won by a single goal from a set piece.

Can't say I agree we deserved anything, or that Pym was forced into too many saves, though it was noticeable how many times he came and caught the ball. That double chance from the corner in the second half was our only really clear chance, whereas Exeter had quite a few.

It wasn't as bad as the last home game I was at (Barnet), but still not good enough. Fair enough we were playing a good side yesterday, but on the whole it's simply not good enough.

I can't see him getting sacked as we'll pluck out the odd win here and there to keep our head above water and the board won't have it in them to sack him.

Just watched the highlights and didn't see any particular great chances for us. Exeter missed some absolute sitters, by the looks of it they should have won 3 or 4-0.

We're toothless, we leak creativity despite having creative players and we seriously lack a player capable of scoring more than 10 goals a season.

It's a combination of poor recruitment, bad coaching and awful tactics. Our home form and performances this year hav been diabolical, totally unacceptable. The crowds will continue to plummet and we'll be in a relegation battle all season if none of the above changes.
