I dunno how they’ve worked that one out.

He goes down easy, yes, but it’s not as if he claims for a penalty or starts rolling about on the floor looking for it. He gets back up, keeps the ball in play and lays it off back to one of our lot - it ain’t his fault that the ref gave it.
Seems to me The FA are trying to lay the blame on Miller for the referee's fuck up,what will happen to the ref? Bugger all.

Must have been pretty bad in their eyes as our guy got away with an potential dive on Saturday against Arsenal (think the biggest shock was a big team actually got a debatable decision against them!)

Does kind of show up the ref a bit as said above though.

He doesn't even appeal for it, his first reaction when on the floor is to try and play the ball to set up a chance for his team mate.

It's the referees fuck up. It wasn't a penalty, but It's a ridiculous decision to ban him when they can't possibly be sure that he was trying to cheat.

Yes - and it's likely to be the luck of who is on the panel going by the varied reaction of our incident on Saturday.

Even various officials had mixed views!!

And unlike our fans or anyone connected to Arsenal they were unbiased.

The club has now confirmed that they will be appealing it.

They're just after a nice little trial for their new law, I'm sure it'll be coming to the Premier League but they wouldn't want their first use of it to be there, rather do it here where it'll attract less attention. I'm sure they've been eyeing up penalty decisions since the start of the season waiting until they find one they think they can build a case against that doesn't damaging their referee and for whatever reason they feel this is the one.

Ridiculous. There's no way they can judge that he definitely cheated off that footage.

As mentioned above, they are just looking for a guinea pig to trial it on before they drop the bombshell on one of the premier league superstars.

The ban has been upheld.

Seems it's not only United fans feel it's a bit harsh. I don't have access to the camera angles the panel do but there seems to be this assumption that if a player goes down in the box then it must be either a penalty or a dive, never any suggestion from the talking heads on telly that it could just be the player was unbalanced by a fair challenge. It looks to me like Miller goes down trying to avoid being tackled. If they want to make an example of someone then there are far more blatant incidents which won't attract any sort of debate whatsoever.
