I saw Palmer have one good game, which was against Staines in the FA Cup...

McCallum is good, very good infact, inside the area, outside it he's absolutely atrocious (will be a top Conference striker next season if he stays on).

Bowery can make something happen, he can also go completely missing for 90 minutes.

Dalby is a 17 year old kid...

They are our striking options. I haven't seen enough of Dalby but certainly for me Palmer, McCallum and Bowery aren't good enough for league football... Which Batt obviously isn't as well (I believe I laughed hard on here at yous when you signed him :D) but things are pretty desperate.

On the wings we have Massey who I really like at this level. Then we have a couple more kids. In central midfield Collins is adequate at this level (and out of contract this month), Atangana is criminally overrated because he's big and strong, Weir is out for the season and Kelly has been injured for months. We also have Moore on loan at Dover - he's on loan there for a reason.

Of the players we have available I would only really back Massey to create something consistently, you can't rely on one player to do it all and even when he does something good the strike force goes MIA.

We have serious, serious problems offensively.

Especially when at the start of the season Orient had Clohessy who offered an attacking threat from full back, Cox, Cornick, Simpson and League Two player of the month Kashket... It's genuinely infuriating how much the attacking threat has been decimated since August.

You managed 3 against Crawley the other week and your recent home record is good so it's going to be a tough game.

If I were a Barnet fan I would be looking at our home form and saying the exact same thing.

Believe me when I say this: you will win. You will win comfortably. We will be toothless.

This is not the usual negative hyperbole of the English lower league football fan, this is just a fact. Like gravity [see Orient's slide down the leagues for another useful example of gravity].

You should've saw how we played in all of those games!! We are appalling! Alright, fair do's - First half against Crawley we did do well, Crawley were actually worse than us and put in the worst first half performance from any side at Brisbane Road this season - where we've lost 9 times!

Palmer and McCallum doesn't really work, all we do is launch the ball long all the time and surrender possession. We are a team with zero confidence and the fact that we're 5th bottom is no coincidence, any side who can remotely pass the ball well usually tear us apart - Like what Exeter did on Monday.

The only attacking threat we have is Gavin Massey and thats if he decides to turn up.

We are an appalling side right now, the football we're playing now is close to the shit we served up in the previous 6 seasons we nearly ended up relegated from this league.

We changed our shape to a 4-2-3-1 and actually played the ball on the floor - albeit with a lack of confidence. Teddy Meazgues inclusion in the middle helped, which for about and hour did ok in parts. But we was beaten by a better team in the end, who passed the ball with more confidence and a purpose. Plus Barnet actually looked good at the back which helps.

We should've been losing at half time, Akinde probably should've gone down and got Erichot sent off - but to his credit he got up and tried to score. Our defence as individual players are far, far too loose.

Our team as individuals are also far, far too loose. More often than not when we fall behind we go on to lose the game, which was the case here. Bringing on Campbell-Ryce stretched us and it played a part in the first 2 goals.

Barnet were a good side though, today overall I was more happy with our style of play and formation but we came up against a good team and in form, who were really always going to beat us. They should keep Rossi Eames on till the end of the season at least.

Our position is perilous though, our bench was lightweight in numbers and rumours that Becchetti is in talks to sell us asap to an American Consortium backed by another company. There will be no signings from us unless this is sorted asap I think........

See, I don't believe in lucky charms and the like, but it's a different matter when it comes to the footy so I have to say that Nolansorient was right. Changing shape, formations and so on are ineffective tactics. STOP THIS ''CLOWN COLLEGE" THING NOW. ASAP.

Great win.

Match was boring first half and Orients pressing game very effective. Both teams were very sloppy.

Second half was a different thing entirely and we played very well - Mauro, Santos and Big John in particular were immense. Hunt made a very dirty tackle on Mauro at the end which could easily have been a long term injury and a red card - wasnt impressed with that.

Onto a tricky game at home to Doncaster but in this form we have nothing to fear!

I could go on about the game, but the real issue here isn't our owner, or our injuries or lack of morale, it isn't about a well put together Barnet side who deserved the three points, its about people labelling Orient as 'Clown College' on the match day threads.

If this despicable habit persists it will be Clown College vs Chester City next year. Sort it out.
