makes a bit more sense as the end is/was originally "like sheffield united....come fill me again" so the barrel of magnet/greasy chip butty that come before are obviously the "fill" comparisons....doesnt make as much sense when fill gets changed to thrill (especially not with how we ate playing atm), and even less sense when magnet gets changed to maggots which I've heard people sing a couple of times now

Our 'Last Waltz' anthem differs from Mr Humpertink's one with the original line 'Just My Tears And The Orchestra Playing' being replaced by 'Just The Gills And The Rainham End Singing'... then it finishes off with the Hey Jude chorus. Been singing it for forty years, soar throat now.

Ours is our number 36 smash hit Yeovil True. First recorded before our FA Cup 3rd Round game at home to Livepool in 2004 it caught on well and is sung before home games

'Play Up Sky Blues' is our main anthem and one of the most famous.

Over 50 years old, it originates after Coventry manager Jimmy Hill started singing the song on the team coach with the players.

The video above is superb, it shows the Coventry players singing it in the changing rooms in 1967.
Sadly, the song has become slightly dated, the teams Tottenham, Chelsea and United are included but the words won't ever change again. It's one thing that reminds people we once played the big boys each week!
