RefWatch; Ref for Northampton game is Phillip Gibbs, 50, the fat teacher from Dudley. Ref since 2008. Give him a medallion and he'd fit right in on stage beside his (almost) namesakes, the Brothers Gibb, with his high pitched voice and tight shorts. He don't stand for no Jive Talking - he gave 62Y in just 19 games last year, but it would be a Tragedy if we see any reds, he only gave 2 in those games. So, will Tuesday Night Fever see if our play off hopes are Stayin' Alive, or will it be a case of You Win Again, Cobblers? I think it depends on How Deep Is Your Cross, Frampton - Ardley's Got To Get A Message To You (beat the first defender, Andy).

Injured a lot (because of the very tight shorts), has only done half the games this season. Reffed Wombles twice, the 2-1 defeat at Stevenage in Jan 15 (2Y) & 1-1 draw with Wycombe in Nov (4Y), when he seemed like a rabbit caught in the headlights when trying to deal with Wycombe's wonderful tactics. Reffed Cobblers 5 times (W3 L2), most recently the 1-0 home win v Pompey in March (4Y, 1R). Hates the scum. Reffed them once against Owls & they lost & had a scum sent off. Hates them. Top man. Home win % is 33% - very low.

AnagramWatch; Phil Gibbs Dudley = Hubby Leg Did Slip. Sly Pig Bib Huddle. Hi Piddly Blues B G.

It will be interesting to see if we have a reaction after our performance v Hartlepool, sounds like we were off form for once.

Play like we have been and the result shouldn't be in question, suspect we may lose though and we'll have a little blip for a few games.

Think we'll win this one, and we'll be three points closer to promotion.

Sorry guys but this ref is a shocker.
Was 'in charge' for a recent game between Plymouth and Wycombe which resulted in both clubs being fined. Largely due to his inability to control the game and allowing Wycombe to be Wycombe.
Reffed our game last Tuesday and was awful, most of the extra time was from him pissing about. Left a player on the floor bleeding from a head injury and refused to stop play, at one point only allowed one of two subs to come on and then just as Pompey went to take the free kick changed his mind and then let the second one happen.
Spends way to long discussing decisions and cant keep up with play to make the big ones.

Barcham and Tom Elliot looking doubtful for tomorrow is a big blow for us. Bayo may get a start as Ards likes to play people against their former teams. He is useless though so I hope not.

Are you looking for a bite?
You cannot say that the Legendary Bayo is useless.....

Not looking for a bite. Honestly this season is one past his sell by date. Ask any wimbledon fans he is absolute shit on a stick. When he gets subbed on a groan goes around the whole ground.

I'd rather we started with a broken washing machine upfront instead of Bayo.
Last season he was excellent at what he did, this season.... How many different words describing bad do you want.
He is 4h in the list of our first team strikers only because we don't have 5.

Potential banana skin for us after Saturday's draw. Anything but a win and the natives will start moaning and going in to panic moan. No doubt a few will even call for Wilder to go! Seriously though we need a win to get back to winning ways especially with a long difficult trip to Carlisle on Saturday

Thing is with Bayo it would appear he has finally crossed the barrier with regards to fame and sheer bulk. Hes looking even more massive now than before and hes always of social media doing something.

Guys still a legend at Sixfields though!

Sounded on the radio like a draw was fair but Wimbledon certainly provided some scary moments! Consecutive draws for us now but we've still managed to extend our lead over second and fourth.

Wimbledon were impressive, one of the best sides at Sixfields this season. A draw was about right, either team could have won it.

A word for the ref who was atrocious.

I can think of more than 1 word for the clown,
Dons were decent, deserved their point.
Missing Rico badly, ball doesn`t seem to stick up front since he`s been injured

As predicted an abysmal display from Mr Gibbs tonight. Shocking for both teams. How does he still get games??

Credit to Wimbledon tonight. One of the best teams to visit Sixfields this season. Pace up top which we couldn't handle and a strong pressing game all over the park. Carry on the current form and they'll make the play offs no problem. Decent support too. The offer to build us a stand would be gratefully accepted :-)

That was an interesting penalty shout for Cobblers. Your striker was certainly looking to make contact with Roos and made sure he took a tumble. Thing is though, he was caught by Roos anyway so by over-egging it he obscured that contact and made it look like a dive. If he'd gone down naturally it would have been given I reckon.

The thing which annoys fans I think is that if it isn't a penalty then it surely must be a dive? Ref was really poor throughout for both teams, luckily it didn't really ruin an entertaining game. I did find it weird that the most blatant foul by a Wimbledon player was followed by a chant of "you don't know what you're doing" by the Wimbledon fans, it was about the only correct decision of the night!

Wimbledon should make the play offs on that showing, good pace and looked dangerous, well organised and pretty solid too. Ardley seems to have done a good job. I thoroughly enjoyed it when the ref gave another ridiculous decision and both Ardley and Wilder were p*ssing themselves on the touchline.

I think the phrase "Stonewall" was invented for that penalty, that wasn't given, last night. Not even the slightest doubt it was a pen. Dons fans, ask yourself if it was at the other end , would you have expected a pen ? Think I know the answer.

Has anyone said it wasn't a pen? Why are you piling in looking for a fight where there isn't one?

Impressed with Wimbledon they did really well and caused us lots of problems. Was impressed with Elliott at our gaff last season and Taylor showed electric pace.

Entertaining game in which a draw was probably about right. Stretch our lead over second which is fine by me.
