Fuming with this to say the least.

Having been in hospital since the day after the Port Vale game, where my lung collapsed, my Mrs promised to get me something to cheer me up. For the last week 5-6 days I've been expecting Colchester tickets, but no, how wrong am I.

She's booked us to go away for the weekend with National fucking Express to Cadburys World, and the Safari Park. On the Saturday and Sunday.
This meaning I now miss the boxing as well as our biggest match in some years.

Not sure whether to laugh or cry. I hope everyone going has a shit time cause I'm in a sulky ass mood at the moment.
I hope you are all better now Double J?
This game is going to be one of immense contrasts as I see it. One set of fans is going to be jubilant while the other absolutely shattered. Certainly not a game for feint hearts.
While I want and expect North end to win, a word of warning. We were soundly beaten at Colchester so beware.
A nervy 2/3-1 away win.
Sorry U's.

Colchester was the only game where we got a bit complacent and thought we could just turn up - and we were 3-0 down in 20 mins.

They're on a good run, had some results against the top teams, this is no guarantee for Preston at all

Totally agree CH96 but I can't see North end being as sloppy as we were that day TBH. Colchester will give it their all though!

I think that first half tonight was as close as we've got to the first half against you guys all season - the only difference was that we spurned chance after chance tonight and managed to stick three away against you. Could easily have been three or four before the break again though.

Also worried the players will be absolutely dead on their feet now. It was a monumental effort to turn it around late on at Fleetwood, and another monumental effort tonight to throw everything at Swindon for 90 minutes. Dropping two points will be a huge blow to the players too mentally.

Sunday is likely to be one step too far.

Agree but I reckon they'll make them sweat! A tight 1-2 or something, with a late goal

Long as we don't lose final day we're safe.

That said, Preston avoiding defeat along with either Coventry or Gillingham will also give us insurance, so let's take no chances.

I'll miss Preston away if they go up, I love going Deepdale, however I think we've more of a chance of winning at Doomfield Road next season anyway!

Hope we can continue our recent run of scoring twice in the first half, think we've done that in our last 4 games now.

Also hope we've got out of the habit of allowing second half scares and lessons have been learnt from Gillingham & Port Vale. Notts County pulled one back and we saw it out and Swindon was as easy as you like so that's positive.

I'm hoping Humphrey keeps his place but wouldn't have any real problems with Robinson coming back in and going with a more attacking shape.

There is so much alcohol on our mini bus, it is glorious.

Looking forward to the trip down more than the match.

Come on Preston, don't let the franchise come up with us.

Both sides nervy so far. Can see it going either way 1-0 to be honest. Hard to call for who.
